Introduction: Kea Dupree-Alfred was born and raised in Washington, DC, where photography has been a passion of hers since early childhood. She went on to college at Florida A&M University and decided to major in physics. In her junior year, she changed her major to photography earning a bachelor of science degree in 2002. In 2003, Kea Dupree Photography was born. Many years later, she feels very blessed to have a successful career in something she has had a lifelong passion for.

Kea was excellent in the way she captured our family photos that included an active toddler! Kea was impressive in the way she engageD with our one year old daughter who had a very short attention span! Kea using different faces and noises, was able to successfully get my daughter to stay focused, smile and shoe different facial expressions too! Kea made the session fun for all if us, even our little one! What we got were beautiful photos that got us many compiments! As we look back now, she is so much better than the photographers we've used in the departmental store studios. She is also one of the best field photographers we have had because of how well she engages with the subjects in the photos! She is especially great with kids!

Kea delivered awesome service and product for our annual family shoot. She picked a wonderful location and was able to get shots that showed our happiness throughout. Very awesome experience at a reasonable cost!

Kea is always the organized, enthusiastic, professional photography consultant. That's been my experience each of the 5 or 6 times she has shot my indoor and outdoor fitness classes and fitness modeling and website photo sessions. I love working with her because she's relaxed while providing expert direction to capture beautiful photos. And she captures the BEST!

We've worked with Kea twice so far. The first time, she shot our wedding. We had a small intimate wedding with close family only & she successfully captured all of the emotion & excitement of each of our guests. With our wedding album as well as the family shoot she did for us, there is a sense of playfulness & love which encompasses who we are naturally. We especially loved the sneak peak wedding video that we enjoyed on the way to our honeymoon! She is great at capturing us as we are in all of the different roles we embody & we highly recommend her work.
