- What types of customers have you worked with?
My writing, editing and translation jobs have most commonly included proposals and reports for nonprofits. I also work on professional correspondence, newspaper articles, editorials, and academic papers. As a writing tutor I often help high school and college students develop and organize their ideas, formulate a thesis and an outline, learn effective strategies for writing good rough drafts, and implement techniques to revise and edit their work.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I edited a grant proposal requesting over half a million dollars from the European Commission for a joint research study that involved a nonprofit coalition located in the USA and a think tank located in Germany. The job was under significant time constraints and involved input from multiple individuals and departments from each organization. The proposal was ultimately successful.
