Introduction: I have a passion for decor and an eye for design. I can work with your items to stage or enhance the look with some new pieces. If the home is vacant, I can bring in my own furnishings and offer them at a greater discount than renting from a rental company. My goal is for each customer to be completely satisfied with the end result. I love to help my customers; whether it's staging to sell, staging to live or just freshening up their home. I used Unique Home Staging for my Aunt's house. I never met Mary personally as I do not live in the same state as my Aunt. All arrangements were made through email. The process was easy and end results were amazing. Mary suggested what changes to make and prior to staging the house for sale we were able to do some but not all of them. She worked with us and really made the house appealing to all buyers. She worked within our budget and time frame. I would definitely recommend Unique Home Staging.

BEST PRICING AROUND! Mary is extremely talented and fair. She truly wants to help people out, but she cannot do it at a loss. That said, her pricing was 1/3 of the competitors. And the great pricing doesn't come at a sacrifice to quality. All her furniture looks brand new! Hired her on a Tuesday, home was staged the same Friday, and ready for an open house on Saturday. A successful open house (done for sale by owner) we have 2 solid buyers, one in particular is going to see the home one more time on Sunday and we are expecting an offer soon! Her talent is amazing. She can make rooms feel bigger, make areas feel more cozy, and create a space that truly allows perspective buyers to see themselves living in the house. If your house is vacant, you are doing yourself a disservice unless you contact her! Even if your home is full of your belongings, take a step back, realize she is the pro and let her work her magic with your furniture (I'm pretty sure she offers a service where you use your own furniture, she makes the home appeal to the broadest audience possible)! I have never posted a positive review. I have posted many negative reviews, but never a positive one. Generally if my expectations are met, I'm satisfied with the service but don't feel the need to leave a review so others can take advantage of such a talented person in their respective fields. But Mary completely blew away my expectations, my wife's/aunts/uncles expectations also! From the smallest detail to the furniture placed. This is someone who takes pride in her job! She is more than fair with her customers. And I can almost promise you that your investment in staging your house will pay dividends a quicker sale & higher offer, at least with Mary & Unique Home staging! Could not have a higher recommendation!!!

We wanted to downsize and decided to put our home on the market. I called Mary to stage our house. She put away some of our personal items, used some of our decorative items, & brought a few accessories of her own. The end result was: our 1980's house transformed into a 21st century home. Potential buyers said the house looked fabulous. She was full of fresh ideas and able to incorporate designs and create pleasant fusions with bright colors. Preparing our home for a Realtor's show became easy for me since I knew where things went & looked good. Everybody loved the decor! Within a few weeks, we had an offer by young buyers. I recommend her highly for staging.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified stager through the Association of Property Scene Designers (APSD) program. I am always learning new things about our field and I stay connected with other pros in the business to continue to build on my knowledge. In addition, I work closely with realtors to keep informed on what buyers are looking for.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved to decorate and after spending ten years helping customers choose beautiful accent pieces for their home; I wanted to expand on that and offer customers a greater service. I truly believe in the importance of home staging. It's an investment you should make and has proven to sell homes faster.
