Phil is awesome. I hired him my personal trainer to learn how work out. As a 27 year old office professional, I was never involved with sports as a kid, and didn't know how to work out or what to do. Phil was great helping me to build a routine, and the in-home personal training sessions showed immediate results. Phil is punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable on both exercise and good eating habits. It was just the encouragement I needed!

I’ve been meeting with Andre for personal training sessions for over a year. Not only have I noticed changes in my appearance (lost approx 20 lbs, lost inches, and toned up), but my physical capabilities have vastly improved too! I give all the credit to Andre for being such a great trainer. He’s extremely motivating and encouraging. I can sometime slack if we don’t schedule appointments in advance, but I can always count on him to follow up to make sure I get my workout in with him. If you want a great trainer that offers encouragement and will get you results but doesn’t yell i at you like a drill sergeant then Andre’s the man for the job!!

I've been working out using various fitness programs available for purchase (e.g. Insanity, P90X, Les Mills) for a few years and thought I knew a lot about how to work out. When I tried to put something together on my own, I quickly found out how wrong I was! I did know a lot of exercises, but putting them together into a program that fit what I was trying to achieve just wasn't happening. I was so lucky to have found Dancer for Life. After a brief fit test and interview, she put together a program for me that was perfect for my goals. I wanted to improve my strength and lean out my physique. I saw results on the first part pretty quickly with her guidance and encouragment. She also helped me realize that the leaning out part takes time, but I am seeing great results there too. I would have totally messed up ( and probably given up) without her as a trainer. If you are looking for someone who can help you with YOUR fitness goals and not some cookie-cutter approach, Dancer is the one for you. She is certainly my permanent trainer!

Jen has been a lifesaver! She really took the time to understand what I was looking for, my trouble areas, and taking any limitations into account. For every training session, she always has one of my favorite playlists on and is ready to go with a unique workout. She motivates me and helps me keep pushing myself when I don't think I can keep going. I also travel a lot for work, and Jen is great at giving me "vacation" workouts and checking up on my progress between sessions. I highly recommend Jen, you won't regret it!

Starting my personal training at Passion for Fitness is the best thing that I’ve ever done for myself! I traded many e-mails with Joe prior to our first consultation and when we met, I knew that PFF would be different…and I’ve tried everything. We talked about my goals and how to achieve them. Our meeting wasn’t rushed or high pressure, which I appreciated. I started PFF in June and have worked primarily with Jackie and she is amazing! I feel stronger and have more energy. Jackie has pushed me out of my exercise comfort zone and is teaching me how to exercise the correct way and get results. All of the PFF trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly, and have a passion for what they do. I like that my session is customized especially for me…I’ve never had the same training session twice! Their personal attention and commitment to clients is evident. Every client who walks in the door is greeted like an old friend and happy to be there. I look forward to exercising! I leave my session with a sense of accomplishment every time. I HIGHLY recommend Passion for Fitness. Love it (but I still dislike the honking cycling!).

I had the pleasure of working with Tav in both group and one and one sessions. He is both experienced & committed to helping reach and exceed all possible fitness goals. I started with Tav training once a week, as part of a group class, and really enjoyed the variety and challenges he put into each class. Every week was different, from circuit training to hiit intervals, weights and much more. I was also able to have personal one-on-one session as well! They were equally challenging yet somehow fun and a good variety of exercises. He is supportive and encourages you in a positive way to help achieve all goals that were set. Working with Tav, my fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights and generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts with him. Most Importantly: He alway made sure that my technique was correct to avoid any injuries and provided tips and ideas on how to continue to challenge myself. He is reliable and is always ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned out for that session. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tav as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals. He is one of the best!

I found Lisa through her website after quite a bit of searching. I knew what I wanted to accomplish; I just didn't know how to get it done. Nutritional advice, personal training, and motivation is what I was searching for and exactly what I found in Lisa! She is encouraging, upbeat, and always focused on my development. The workouts are fun, varied and always challenging. As I have made lifestyle changes toward being healthier - I feel that I have a true partner in Lisa. She has worked with me on so many different muscle groups and overall cardio fitness my health, body and spirit are all stronger. Each time we go through something new she demonstrates just what a strong and effective teacher she is both my modeling the exercise and patiently giving feedback until my form improves. She is such a strong teacher that many of the exercises she has taught me I now can do at home. Lisa has a variety of videos that she has available for those in-between work outs along with those times I can't make my twice weekly workouts. Simply put - a joy to work with and a complete health coach. I feel nothing less than grateful to have found her.

today was my first day which was a complementary, workout. however once the workout was over i knew immediately this was the type of trainer/training that will help me accomplish my goal. If the next 3 months are anything like the first day, i will surpass goal with no problem. Jake is not only the owner and great trainer he also keeps the workout from getting stale which is perfect. I'll respond in 3 months with the end results

Out of the 3 combat facilities I’ve trained at, Jack’s Gym is the most inviting, enjoyable, challenging, attentive, & genuine of them all. They aren’t just there to collect money. The world class trainers make sure they help and encourage you to become the best you possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this gym to anyone who is considering training to fight or anyone who wants a fun way to get in the best shape of your life as well as taking away some real world experience. Jack’s Gym is also the mist affordable facility I’ve trained at by far. You will NOT find a better place to train in MD/DE. For cost & value of what they offer, they are undisputed.

I have been training with Greg for about 1 year and I’m very happy with the results so far. His training method tremendously helped me improve strength and cardio and triggered weight loss. Greg is very encouraging and pays close attention to my progression. I was able to push myself in areas I thought I would never be able to. Greg knows how to adjust different workouts according to your pace and also mixes exercises so it never gets boring.

If you’ve stumbled upon this review of TJ Coakley, more than likely there’s a reason. You may have a specific need that perhaps you don’t even fully realize. TJ is well qualified to train your body, he definitely knows his stuff, but there are lots of people out there who are qualified to train your body. The thing is, TJ’s more than a trainer. He’s a coach. TJ concerns himself with you as a whole. I was hesitant to hire a trainer, but within a few minutes at my initial consultation, I knew I was in good hands and I felt at ease right away. Then at our first session, I began to feel even better than “at ease”, I became hopeful and excited. He took an actual interest, more so in fact than anyone whose help I’ve sought ever has. I have some specific issues that need extra consideration, and from day one, I felt genuinely invested in. TJ is a kind and gentle man. Not to say he won’t make you work, because he will. But he’ll work with you based on you. He listens, hears, and responds to your needs. TJ is knowledgeable, dedicated, and very well equipped. If you’re sitting on the fence about hiring a trainer, hop off. TJ will help you reach your goals in more ways than you’d expect, and you’ll be really glad you let him help you.

Beth is a terrific trainer! I am very pleased with how she helped me prepare for my Mt. Kilimanjaro climb. She gained an understanding of the climb profile and trekking demands, and then created a training plan to suit my schedule. My plan included endurance, interval, and strength training. She is an expert in all three of these areas. Additionally, Beth advised me on hydration and nutrition strategies, both in general and for the climb specifically. She was always enthusiastic, communicative, and prompt. My positive trekking experience was largely due to Beth's efforts. Her dedication to client's success is genuine. After a year working with Cory Moloff towards my fitness goals, I feel it is vital to write a review about him. Prior to working with Cory, I suffered from muscles that were very tight and inflexible.
