We don't provide a bunch of pre-set menus per say, except our own list of homemade passed and stationary Hors D'Oeuvres and Holiday Menus when appropriate. We create and design the menu with you along with our proffessional advice and suggestions..keeping a friendly budget at the forefront. I love to create trendy healthy food options for your special event, custom designed that you and your guest will absolutely love.! Yup , and we will take care of any special diets or food restrictions as well.

I worked with Chef Rock to plan my mother's 80th birthday party. We had 20 people and it is always difficult to please everyone; however, Chef Rock was able to plan a menu that was versatile and tasty! The chef made sure he considered people's diet and health needs before he planned the meals. I loved that Jim was completely prepared and self-sufficient, so it didn't matter how well the kitchen was stocked (or not). We had a taco bar and enchiladas one night and I was really impressed that the chef served homemade tortillas and he roasted the fresh chills. The following evening we had a beautiful rib roast with all the trimmings, fresh vegetables and potatoes dauphinoise. I was really impressed with Chef Rock's attention to detail, including warmed plates, the tastiest condiments and dips, as well as plenty of fresh fruit. I highly recommend hiring a personal chef for this kind of event since we only had 2 1/2 days to spend quality time with each other and travelled from five different states. Chef Rock also made sure everything was ready depending on our schedule. If we hadn't made this arrangement with our chef, I'm sure we would have been eating dinner at midnight! Luckily we had plenty of room in the house so the chef could stay the whole time, making coffee in the morning and providing all the clean-up. Thanks Jim for making this great event so memorable and special.

I was not the client of Jimmy, but the recipient of his services on the weekend of March 28 through 30. Some of my children hired him to cook for 20 of us on the mentioned dates in celebration of my 80th birthday. In no time at all he was one of us, so yes he went above and beyond. He worked with my daughter on menus which would work for all of us. These menus were very creative and beautifully presented. Everything was well prepared and there were not any leftovers. All foods were prepared from scratch, including the tortillas for the taco bar on our first night. From breakfast to dinner we were inundated with delicious meals from Jimmy on our days with him. On one evening he even brought out his guitar and sang duets with my granddaughter and her ukulele. This is someone you should hire and you absolutely will not be disappointed. We purchased a "dinner for two" prepared by Culinary Architects at a silent auction benefiting Hagley Museum. Working directly with Chef Jim, we expanded the in-home event to include 6 adults and 1 child. From appetizers on the patio to a sit down dinner in our formal dining room, the evening was a huge success! Chef Jim integrated very comfortably and seamlessly with us and our guests. He prepared and presented delicious cuisine throughout the evening! (The grilled lamb entree was to die for!) Chef Jim was very accommodating and did an excellent job meeting the individual dietary needs of all. We highly recommend Culinary Architects and will definitely use Chef Jim and his staff for a future occasion!

I hired Chef Jim for my husband's 50th birthday party. It was a small intimate dinner for 20. We had both meat eaters and vegetarians attending. I thought this would be a challenge in such a small group. It was fabulous! The food was fantastic and Chef Jim was a "hoot" with the group. The best part, I didn't have to lift a finger! He took care of everything from planning the menu to clean-up. I highly recommend his services.

Dinner was a wonderful experience. Jim did a great job selecting the courses. Everything was fresh, light and delicious. He was very professional and had just the right amount of interaction with the guests.
