We hired Headway to move our Law Office, which involved moving multiple offices and conference rooms of furniture, file cabinets and files and taking apart our cubicle furniture and reinstalling it at our new location. David and Chris and his crew were awesome. They were on time for every appointment, gave a competitive quote and got everything moved in one night when our time frame got compressed unexpectedly. They literally worked until 2:00 am to get the job done and did so with great attitudes all along the way. They were able to schedule a last minute move for me, and worked with to get all the insurance I needed on very short notice. The 3 movers were efficient and very professional - it was a very hot and humid day - and for 5 hours they had a "can do" attitude. All items handled with care - no issues ! I used them as "muscle" for an interim move to temp living and involved many storage units and juggling household goods. I will be using them again for the move to our new home being built The owner and crew chief were very responsive via thumb tack and then With me directly for all final logistics - calls to follow up and ensuring arrival on time Thanks David and crew ! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Furniture delivery price is usually flat rated based on how many items, what & how far we are moving it to. Hourly rate, with a minimum and a one time travel charge. We start the clock when we start working and stop it when we are done. One time travel charge covers the workers pay, gas/tolls/drive time to and from our location to yours and back. Service /travel charge which covers our time, fuel cost, labor cost, truck cost, tolls, etc. to get both to and from your location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Getting an itemized list over the phone for an estimate. We do an on site estimate : -all packing jobs - over 4 bedrooms - over 2000 square feet
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been in the moving business since 2001. I was an operation manager for a big company for 4 years. Managed over 35+ movers on a daily basis. I have a degree in logistics.
