Introduction: All tutors know their subjects, but only a few can transfer that knowledge to their students. I am able to analyze how my student think. From there I adapt the method that fits the student best.
Through tutoring, not only was I able to witness my students improve their grades, but I was also able to see them improve other areas in their lives, gain confidence, and have a different outlook on their future.

I started my freshman year at Valencia College about 5 or so years ago. My major was Mechanical Engineering. As I started progressing into my hard core classes, I started attending the tutor center religiously. Subsequently, George was a tutor there! And the best one by far! He always took his time to go through any problem I had with my math, whether it was calculus 1, calculus 2, trigonometry. What I loved best was his patience. Even if I still didn't understand the problem, he would try to show me in a way that I would understand. There is no wrong question to ask when your around George even if it's a simple question. He makes you feel extremely comfortable and delivers awesome undivided attention. By far, he is the best tutor I know.

George is very prompt to our meetings and is always prepared. He has done an amazing job with helping me slope intercept formula,quadratic formula and many other college algebra formulas.He is very attentive to my learning style (I adhd) and is able to engage our session .we have meet places that are convenient for both parties and continue to get ahead each session . His personality is not teacher to pupil but peer to peer and he is always there to help. [With respect to his time George has also helped me solve problems via text as well].I have learned from him to attempt things proir to meeting and bring questions so that we can better use our time to get a firm grasp of the issues I am having.

You need to have the patience of a saint to work with my child and George certainly does! My daughter has the I can't attitude and George is showing her that she can! Thank you George!!!!

George is an excellent tutor and very patient. He is able to take complex subject's and break them down into simple understandable componets. Very flexibile meeting hours, comes well prepare and is very organize, he has been able to work through any questions I have and is willing to spend as much time as needed until the subject is understood. I'd highly recommend his services to anyone!
