- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been helping friends and neighbors for over 10 years clean and organize. Most of the work I have done was voluntary or for trade, until last year. A friend and property manager, asked if I could help her clean the villas after move-outs. I jumped on the opportunity and my cleaning business was born.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have more move-in/move-out requests. The rental business is booming. Since the economy has been hit so hardly we find the contracts for home cleaning are getting less and less. Most people don't realize how affordable it can be.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We would suggest asking for insurance and bonding documents. This protects you in case there is an accident and something is broken. Look for a company that is professional and honest. Questions to ask your self: 1. Are they upfront with you during your home estimate? It has been proven. A company with nothing to hide, hides nothing. 2. Is the one giving you the estimate the one who will be cleaning your house? or Is it a sales person trying to give you a pitch? 3. Do they seam organized? 4. What sets them apart from the others.
