We are very pleased with our white vinyl fence extension that Allstate Fence & Rail installed on our property. The gate needed some minor adjustments & they came out within a few days after we called the office. Someone always answers the phone in a friendly manner.

These people came out, walked the property and said they would get my estimate asap. It has been almost two weeks. No call, nothing. Oddly they didnt know anything about making shadow box fencing, the most common around. I would stay away. We went with another company since this contact.
Nov 17, 2020VerifiedAllstate Fence and Rail LLC's replyHi Darren! We just confirmed with our estimator that she emailed you your quote on 11/11/2020. Also, the photos of the fence you provided is not shadow box fence, which we install regularly. If you have any questions regarding the emailed quote, please contact us at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

This is an update from a previous review. Our fence looks great and Ron seemed to really care about us being happy with it. AllState's customer service needs real work, but Chris has assured me that they are taking many steps to ensure it improves. I'll take him at his word, and hope they take it seriously.

Jeff, Tyler & Toomesh are great guys. They worked well together and did a fantastic job on a very difficult fence line. They had to think outside the box and get creative, and they did it very well! Even when there was a problem, it was solved perfectly. Great job!!

Fence and Gate Installation
This company is so terrible at communicating and at keeping their words that I will not waste additional time writing a detailed review. I would have too much to explain. In plus they could not care less. We had sent 3 complaint letters, one on Facebook over 6 weeks ago, one via text and another via email about 3 weeks ago, no one responded or addressed any of them. The man we were in contact with Chris, said he would return a call over three weeks ago but just sent a modified contract via email without even adding a word of apology. I did not want to write a review too soon because I am a fair person. I wanted to give them the opportunity to correct their numerous flaws, but I am now wondering how in the world that company has so many good reviews. This company will suck your patience out of you. Had we gone with another company and did not pay attention to the reviews in here, we would have had a fence by now. They have waisted nearly 2 months of our time and till now we have no clue about when we'll have a fence. The guy told me the first time I contacted him through Thumbtack that the entire process would take about 3 weeks and that he would pull the permit in one day, unlike other companies! What a lie that was!!! I do not recommend this company at all. I would give them a 0 if that was an option. The only positive thing that happened in this process was meeting John, the wonderful man who came to measure our land. Everything else is a negative thus far!! 9/11/20 I am writing an update to the review up there. So the day after writing this review, someone in the company finally contacted us, we returned her call within minutes to attempt to schedule when they'll add the fence, but she never returned our calls. We finally were able to leave a message with the receptionist who assured she would return our call right away. When she did not two days later, we finally decided what we should have weeks ago due to the aggravations and many red flags that we were dealing with a terrible company who did not need our business. Wednesday, we sent an email advising we no longer needed their service. Within minutes of receiving our message, Chris called, sent an email and texted. It's hilarious how you suddenly become special to a company that took your business for granted all along when you decide you will no longer put up with their incompetence!! When you give terrible service and when you don't care about customers, you lose some! TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, Learn from your mistakes, apologize, accept that you deserve to lose their business and do better next time. If you aggravate them more than you already have, I GUARANTEE, their publicity WILL make you lose 100+ more customers!!!
Sep 11, 2020VerifiedAllstate Fence and Rail LLC's replyHello Nicky, we are not familiar with the description of your experience and have reviewed our records to confirm. You were scheduled for install within the time frame Jon quoted you. You were also communicated with regularly, as our customer relationship manager tracks emails, text messages, and phone calls. We understand that sometimes things can be frustrating, however falsely depicting your experience is unnecessary. We wish you well and hope you find a company that will better meet your needs.
