Introduction: Nutritional Therapist and Kundalini Yoga Instructor I am a nutritional therapist and a Kundalini Yoga instructor and I have assisted many individuals in their quest to begin and maintain a new and healthy lifestyle. I have done this by simply suggesting different food choices and by teaching my clients how to use their own bodies to heal themselves by incorporating yoga into their daily life. Nutritional Therapist As a nutritional therapist I do not recommend a "diet" or ask my clients to count calories. Although there are commitments my clients must make to embrace this lifestyle change, they can still enjoy many of their favorite foods. There are healthy and creative ways to enjoy food while feeling better and balancing weight at the same time. As you begin to see positive results, you will know that your efforts have been worthwhile. I help my clients to identify the hidden dangers in food that are known to be very hazardous to good health. By removing foods with toxic ingredients from the diet, by shopping for organic, nutrient rich foods, and by educating my clients on how to maintain this lifestyle change, positive results come quickly. I teach unique and creative ways to save money, so that healthier choices can be made without "breaking the bank". My clients learn that living an organic lifestyle is less expensive in the long run as there will be fewer doctor visits and fewer prescriptions to fill. I believe that we are interconnected with nature and by eating whole, nutrient rich foods that our bodies can identify, it will in turn create an autoimmune response and the body will heal itself. By incorporating these foods into my client's daily regimen and eliminating toxic "foods" that cause inflammation, they feel better physically, mentally and emotionally. Each organ in the body is a part of a complex synergistic system. By working with the body as a complete, interconnected system, rather than treating just the symptoms, my clients begin to see dramatic changes. I chose to become a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor as eating healthfully is only one component to living a holistic lifestyle. Kundalini Yoga has the ability to heal the body on levels far beyond what you can imagine. This practice will transform your life giving you enhanced levels of self confidence, will quiet the mind from the constant voice in your head, will heal health issues, will give you more energy, better sleep and create an overall better attitude towards life. Yoga, meaning "union", has many diverse and life changing health benefits that have been studied, documented and proven over centuries. Yogis study how nature heals itself by using the body, mind and spirit. Over their many years of practice and dedication, that vision has given us the ability to enjoy, grow and heal our own bodies. With yoga you feel more alive, have greater mental clarity and you become more emotionally balanced. Putting it all together. Yoga, in my mind, puts it all together. I have a true love and desire to teach, rejuvenate and heal through the use of yoga and the by the consumption of nutrient dense organic foods. How powerful is it that we have the ability to heal ourselves? Because each of my clients approaches me with different requirements, I adapt my programs to fit the needs of the individual. My clients and I then work together to accomplish his/her goals. By offering my knowledge regarding the importance of consuming nutrient rich, organic foods, showing others how to transform their bodies through movement and postures and by teaching how using mindfulness and meditation can change our outlook on life, I continue to be inspired to share the gifts I have been given.

Jill Avery is mine and my family's Nutritional Therapist and has helped us overcome different health concerns that we had just by changing what types of food we consume. I live in Boca Raton, Fl and for the past few months Jill Avery has worked with me and my husband in changing to a healthier diet. Eliminating packaged, sugar laden, processed food and substituting with fresh, organic, whole foods has helped us to look and feel better, while losing weight. The interesting part is that the weight came off without doing anything else. I believe that the two things most responsible for these changes are the elimination of processed food and the removal of GMO's from our diets. Jill's knowledge and professionalism place her above most nutritional therapists who have been conventionally trained and do not realize the negative inpact that GMO's and processed foods have on our health. I would recommend Jill to anyone who is serious about improving their health and feeling better.

I would like to strongly recommend Jill as a Kundalini instructor. My last experience with Yoga was many years ago and was nothing like Kundalini. As I am a more mature student, I was concerned about being able to achieve the postures required. Jill went out of her way to make sure that any of the difficult poses were adapted to those individuals incapable of achieving any of the positions. Throughout the session, she explained what each pose was meant to achieve and which part of mind, body or spirit would be affected. As it was difficult to hold some of the positions for the length of time necessary, Jill would give encouragement along the way and, somehow, most of us held on until completion of the exercise. At the end of the session, I felt calm, peaceful and somehow physically energized. Jill is a born teacher and I would not hesitate to endorse her for her patience and skills. On another note, I have been working with Jill for the past five months on a change in my diet. It is apparent that Jill researches and studies extensively so that she is knowledgeable about all aspects of nutrition. She has been helping me with a nutrition plan that includes organic, healthy foods and removes GMOs and gluten from my diet. I still eat the foods I like and with no other changes on my part, I have lost 15 pounds. My energy level is up and I feel better than I have in many years. Kathy R on June 18, 2015

Jill is an amazing Kundalini yoga teacher , I have attended her classes and they have left me in absolute bliss. She works in such a gentle and relaxed way that it puts you in a quiet place from the very beginning. When I took her classes not only did she beautifully guide us through the sets gracefully but she also gave us a bit of humor and encouraging words when she knew there were certain parts of the set that may not have been too easy to do. She holds the space beautifully and the positive energy she carries in her is transmitted when you are a student in her class. She explains what we are doing and why we are doing it, as we are working on it she never forgets to let us know what are the benefits of doing what we are doing at that exact moment. She is truly a great teacher and has what it takes to put you at ease in her class if you're feeling stressed by everyday issues, she gives us that escape we as humans in this world of work and bills need to be able to get by through our days sanely and calmly. I will continue to take Jill's Kundalini classes and I hope more and more people take the opportunity to do so as well. She also has helped me to pay attention more to my nutrition and to be more careful with what I do eat and what I should not eat. For everything I eat she has a better , healthier choice to give me if not one, more then one. I feel inspired to know such an amazing person who sincerely cares about the well being of every person she meets. Whether it's Yoga or nutrition, Jill is here to help and she does it from the heart.

Jill helped our family tremendously with her extensive knowledge of nutrition and holistic health. She was recommended through a friend of ours and she thoroughly exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were struggling with health issues and Jill was able to help us to remove processed foods and GMOs from our diets and come up with new ideas for fresh meals.
