Introduction: Music is my passion, and I would love to make your celebration very beautiful and special! Yasa Poletaeva is a violinist hailing from Russia. A graduate of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, her musical endeavors has led to solo concerts and festival appearances worldwide. She recently performed with Lynn Philharmonia, High Peak Festival Orchestra, Wagner Festival Orchestra in Germany, and Youth International Orchestra in Italy. Yasa won the Violin of the North International Competition, Moscow Chamber Music Competition, Saint Petersburg International Chamber Music Competition, and John Oliveira Inaugural String Competition. She recently played for Donald Trump, Countess De Hornle, and collaborated with various artists in Russia. She appeared in the master classes of Ida Haendel, Pinchas Zukerman, Aaron Rosand, and Zakhar Bron. She is currently under the tutelage of Elmar Oliveira at Lynn Conservatory of Music. She also happens to be the 1st prize winner of the Miss Saint Petersburg Beauty Pageant.

it has bee almost four years when i witnessed the extravagant music played by Ms. Yasa.... i was asking myself then at first because primarily i'm not musically inclined. but when I heard and saw Yasa playing music,,, I was moved to love classical music... that encounter left a mark in me to embrace the art of music... I'm very much thankful with that experience because I was able to see life in different aspects, different walks and different roads to travel just like the music she played then,, different tone, different pitch and different tones. Just like what life we are in, we have different piece to play. therefore, Ms. Yasa thank you very much for opening my mind with these important realities in life... God bless you always and may you continue to inspire more individuals with your presence...

I really LOVED Yasa's Sarasate performance with the Lynn Philharmonia last year. I feel that her musicality flows very smoothly, and her techniques are highly refined so that the music ideas can come out so easily. Her performance reminded me of world renowned guest artist I've listened to in the past, such as Sarah Chang and many others.

Yasa Poletaeva and Darren Matias, the Contrast Duo performed at the Achievement Heights Academy First Annual Governing Board Fundraising Gala. They were absolutely exquisite. Having the Contrast Duo as the closing performance was a crescendo to a wonderful gala. Yasa and Darren left my guests with a vivid impression of the AHA benchmark. This benchmark indicates the quality of service and education that AHA will extend to struggling early learners in the public school system here in South Florida. Thank you again Yasa and Darren... How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing the violin when I was 5, asking my parents for a small cello. Since them music is my whole life.
