Introduction: I grew up in Miami Beach when it was the Entertainment Capital of the world, and was exposed to the A-list of Jazz & pop musicians. I have decades of experience as both an entertainer and as a bandleader. I have performed in virtually every major Miami Beach and Palm Beach hotel & private club. Why have someone play recorded music when you can have a live orchestra performing the songs that you love?
In addition, I am a retired Professor of Music from the highly respected University of Miami School of Music.
My fee is $165 per man/hour. I look forward to speaking with you.

Dr. D and his jazz ensemble played popular standards and some requested songs at my wedding on October 15, 2016. There were about 80 attendees of all ages, and I received many compliments for the fine singing and skillfully performed melodies. Dr. D is the consummate professional; he met with me at the venue prior to the engagement and we discussed all facets of the performance beforehand. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for any event you are planning that requires musical entertainment.

We hired Dr.D for a holiday party sing along and he was awesome. He showed up early to set up and was playing at the agreed time. He set up a microphone and speaker for himself and set up a microphone for us. It was the perfect volume. He was professional in appearance. He was well dressed in black suit with a tie. We planned on doing a holiday sing along but that Only took 20 minutes. For the remaining time he played contemporary sing along songs (Elton John and pop musicals etc...) which made it way better than expected. No one wants to sing Christmas carols for a few hours and he really managed the music to make it flow right and it was lively and fun. I would highly recommend hiring Dr D's team.

Doctor Gary Dubler was incredible!!!!!!! This artist/ music instructor helped me to propose to my now Fiance on Jupiter Beach. Dr Dubler was very flexable and was able to accommodate us despite short fuse time lines and a unique location. Highly recommended for any type of show or occasion in which live music is needed!
