"I have been dealing with a leg injury for almost a decade. It has limited my ability to walk and play with my newly born granddaughter. I have been in physical therapy programs before, but saw no improvement. After the injury got worse a few months ago, I had resigned myself to the fact that surgery was the only option. Before going under the knife, my children insisted that I take one more shot at physical therapy. My daughter found Mike and set up my first appointment. It has been two and a half months since that first appointment. I am now walking without a cane for the first time in years. Mike pushes me every session. While physical therapists in the past have allowed me to get away with not pushing myself, Mike doesn't take that. His "don't say can't" attitude has been a revelation for me. I have not only strengthened physically, but mentally as we jointly bring down my self-imposed limitations. Am I fully healed? No. But that's not realistic. An injury that I maladapted to and let get worse for almost 10 years can't get better in 10 weeks. But what I can't express enough is how much my quality of life has improved in these past weeks, and it's due to Mike. If you're reading this and unsure about whether Mike is for you, please give him one session. You deserve it to yourself."

"I have been in this fitness program for about 5 months and have done Yoga, Yogalates, Pilates, Zumba, spinning, water cardio, kickbox cardio, total body conditioning, boot camp conditioning, HIIT interval training, cardio intervals, and core N more. All trainers are highly qualified and committed and devote enough time to each student to make sure we are getting a proper workout and doing everything correctly. What is kickboxing?

What is a boot camp class?

Fitness boot camps are a heart-pounding way to boost your fitness level. What should you wear to kickboxing?

Athletic sneakers, pants or shorts that you can comfortably kick in without getting tangled or flashing anyone, and a top that allows for easy movement when punching and jabbing are all good choices. You won’t need protective gear or gloves, as most cardio-based kickboxing classes do not use punching bags.

Kickboxing training that takes place at a martial arts studio typically requires protective gear. You may need boxing gloves (beginners may want 12-ounce or heavier gloves for more cushioning) and hand wraps that protect and support your hands under the gloves while you punch the bag.
