Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Not only am I less expensive than other practitioners, but I have been studying the philosophical background of this medicine for over 30 years. I also practice and teach energy work which helps me be more intune with my patient's needs. I myself have benefitted greatly from this medicine and I want to offering the same to those who are in need. I love helping people, especially when they are not receiving any benefit from western medicine, but they do get results from my treatments. Seeing someone who has suffered for years from an ailment walk in my door with a smile on their face is the greatest reward I can hope for.

We went to John for strained back muscles and chronic pain that nothing had helped. At the time my husband was on strong pain medication which was causing complications in his system. John did a course of acupuncture treatments over 4 months that not only eased the back strain but helped with his other problems as well. He was able to move his toes - something that he hadn't been able to do for over 20 years. The only reason the treatments were stopped was due to the fact that we had to return to our northern home. We found John to be very professional and caring. He always had time for all our questions and gave answers in a form that we could understand. He never made you feel rushed or that you were inconvenience. We would highly recommend John and plan on going back when we head south again.

I have been going to several Medical Drs. and Neuroligists and Neuro surgeons since 1985 to attempt to get relief for severe post traumatic head and shoulder pain with all the normal medications and therapists with little or no releif. After starting with acupuncture treatments with Dr. Osborne we had achieved almost complete relief after about 3-4 months. Dr John not only gave me back the ability to live my life again and do things that I had been doing years ago. Dr. John has also treated and releived ongoing problems that go along with everyday active living to better enjoy doing things with our family and young grandchildren, Dr John also succesfully treated ongoing post traumatic neck pain , all without the usual grocerybag full of medications that we all get when we go to medical Drs.. Dr. John will recommend other treatments by medical physycians when they are neccecary . Yes, it was a GREAT day when my wife suggested that I go to Dr. John in an attempt to obtain some relief. My wife and I try to go every week for " maintenace" and relief from numerous problems associated with the "senoirs" day to day living problems.

I had severe back pain from a spinal fusion 30 years ago and went from doctor to doctor, only to be told that there was nothing that could be done except take pain medication and accept my fate. I had pretty given up on finding a physician who cared about my health and was compassionate and then I met Dr. John. Imagine going back in time to ancient China and meeting one of the masters of healing. Dr. John continues with the tradition of applying ancient wisdom and is passionate about healing. After my first session I felt better physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I have been seeing Dr. John for less than a year and my health has improved dramatically. My husband told me today that he feels like he has his young, vibrant wife back. We both credit him for this - he is not only my doctor, but a friend. I've told him often after my sessions that he's the "best doctor in the world" because I feel so much better, but also because I truly feel this way. Dr. John is the best.

First, let me say that I really love receiving acupuncture treatments. I respect this modality and what it has done for me over the years. Pain and numbness in my body were continuing to nag me. I knew I needed to do something and I didn't want to do pain management as doctors suggested. I came to know Dr. John through a referral. From the first time we met, and that has been several years ago now, I knew I liked him. He makes you feel comfortable. He takes time and listens. He is truly concerned about you as a person and how he can help you. It is like he's trying to put a puzzle together, piece by piece. From neck pain and numbness in my hands, constipation, hormones, stress, and even breast cancer, Dr. John has been there to help. I can't express how thankful I am for his kind and caring words and his genuine concern for me and my health. If you've never tried a treatment or are a bit reserved about going to a male acupuncturist, let me put your mind at ease. Dr. John is down to earth. He has a compassion heart. You will find that not only will you like Dr. John, you will enjoy chatting with him and getting to know your body better. He is one of the few physicians that really have your well being at heart. Thanks Dr. John.

My wife, Joan & I have been going to Dr. John for over a year. I originally was hesitant to go being sceptical of any treatment involving needles. Friends recommended him & I went as a last resort to my problem. He has helped us considerably in that time. I came to him with severe back pain. Could not stand straight! In one session he had me more upright with reduced pain & in subsequent visits completely eradicated the pain. I only started due to the fact that other doctors only recommended medication. Now I go occasionally for maintenance. Thanks Dr. john for all that you have done for us.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most common treatments are for pain, as this is what most people know about acupuncture. However, there are over 100 diseases and disorders recognized by the World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health for which acupuncture is an effective treatment. Next to pain, I mostly treat digestive disorders and stress/anxiety.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would not recommend any practitioner of acupuncture and Oriental medicine that is not nationally board certified. Licensure differs state to state, and education requirements for MD's, Osteopaths, or Chiropractors are much less than for Board Certified Acupuncturists. Only seek treatments from someone specifically trained in that area.
