FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am willing to work with you and your project constraints. My prices obviously vary widely from a bungalow kitchen to a million dollar property. I’m not trying to get over on anybody. I just want to make an honest living.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet the customer at the space to be painted. We discuss what needs to be done in preparation. We pick a color or colors. Then I like to agree on a timeframe for start through completion.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a carpenters apprentice and always wound up doing the painting on our new construction jobs as well as all our renovations because typically carpenters hate to paint. I enjoyed the solitude and the zen of taking something raw and making it polished and completed. All that practice made me a commodity and soon other carpenters were hiring me to do the same for them.
