Introduction: I am a Florida based videographer and experienced wedding videographer. My career started in college, with a media and society major in New York. After graduation, I became a video director for a nonprofit branch of the University at Albany for over 10 years.
In my spare time, I shot over 50 weddings until I decided to pursue wedding videos as my career.

One of my best friends decided to get married in Disney. Her and her husband couldn't afford the videographer with all of the other expenses so myself and 2 of the other bridesmaids decided to try and get them one for a wedding gift. Being we are from NY and NJ, we had no idea how to get someone from Florida. I came across Thumbtack and within a few days booked Everton. Being how nervous I get about everything I had no idea if he would show up since I didn't know him at all outside of here. Turns out he was there before the groom even got to the ceremony. I told Everton how happy I was when I met him because you never know what will happen over the internet. At the reception the DJ couldn't even lead us in the Cha Cha dance so Everton soon became our entertainer too. Thanks again for that because you got everyone on the dance floor. At the end of the evening, the girls and I paid him in cash since we live in different states. We knew we should probably send a check later with all of the horror stories you hear but we figured he showed up so it can't hurt. Once again, Everton came through with a beautiful video. He captured all of the most treasured moments of my friend's wedding and compiled them in a beautiful, breath taking video. Everton saved the day. With his reasonable price and beautiful work I would definitely hire him again. Thanks for everything Everton....And for dealing with me :)

I used Thumbtack at the last minute to hire a wedding videographer. I had never used the website and was very surprised with the feedback I received from the professionals wanting my business. I ended up hiring Everton McLean after reviewing his website and emailing him back and forth few times. I only needed him for my wedding ceremony, about 2 hours, and for $300, I figured you can't beat that price. I was really happy I had secured a videographer and was even happier when I saw that Everton was in a fact who he said he was and showed up to my wedding on time.
Unfortunately, things have taken a very frustrating turn. It has been 2 months since my wedding and Everton still has not given me my wedding DVD. At first he was communicating with me and it seemed like he was just a little busy, but he would have the DVD to me soon. After telling me 3 different times that he would mail the DVD to me, and his refusal to answer my phone calls, I decided I would ask him to drop the DVD off at my work. The day came and went, and Everton never showed up. Once again he said he would mail the DVD to me, this time giving me the tracking number, and I am still waiting. I am starting to think that he really doesn't have my DVD or has accidentally deleted it and doesn't have the professionalism to face the music and tell us he made a mistake. It is unconscionable that someone would keep these special memories from someone and on top of it, completely ignore them. So, I would certainly say- DO NOT hire this man to film the most important day of your life. At least my photographer held up his end of the deal so I have picture to view to remember my wedding day. Perhaps I will receive the DVD one day...
