Ryan showed up on time, was friendly and professional. I would likely hire him again for handyman work.Mar 1, 2015Verified
I took a day off to meet with this guy,.. I set an agreed upon appointment for 3pm. I sent a text several hours prior to our meeting to confirm our appointment, which met with negative response. I went to the job site at the agreed upon time and waited several hours. This guy never showed up, never called and refused to answer my calls/texts...Not a good first impression of someone I was going to hire for a bathroom remodel.Jan 15, 2019VerifiedKimball & Son's Remodeling & Construction's reply
I’m sorry you took the entire day off to meet me at 3pm. However, maybe you should have inquired if something happened to your contractor. The accident on 75 yesterday afternoon was my truck. Causing my employee to be sent to the hospital. I apologize for not getting calling YOU right away. Had you possibly left me a TEXT message, or a voicemail maybe I would have received it but that wasn’t the case. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to use any kind of colorful language when speaking with me. Very unprofessional. Maybe next time you should actually figure out what is going on before you jump to conclusions. I’m sorry my first call was not to you when my truck was totaled. I’m sorry I had to make bone chilling call to someone parents about how there baby boy was injured. But thank you being so kind and understanding. Have a great day.
They responded promptly, did not hire, decided to install myself.Nov 7, 2018Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we meet for a estimate and go over the job details. Then I electronically submit a bid/ estimate. If the customer excepts the bid we move in to contract and agree on a start date,
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? You could say I was born with a hammer in my hand, My father was a contractor, his father was a contractor, and I am continuing in those footsteps. As a third generation contractor I bring decades worth of knowledge to every job.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I Started as a young man working along side my father. He took a small business in Portland, Maine and grew in into a well known remodeling firm. I am not one for the cold whether so I moved to Florida to start my own remodeling business.
