- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was taught by my mother how to sew when I was 8years old. I have always loved sewing and making clothes. I read a lot of fashion books and also took a class at penn foster have a diploma in dressmaking and design.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mother raised 7 girls she taught us girls how to sew first with a needle then the sewing machine. I stuck with it after making my little sister some shorts and a blouse that were a little bit to small for her but, I still made her wear them. I was so proud I kept making clothes at the age of 12.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do alterations but, making dresses and skirts have been most common.
