FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For the customer looking for a home inspection or insurance inspection, we are available for consult or appointment either by phone, email or text, whatever works best for client. Communication is vital, our phone is always on, 24/7. Once services are retained and appointment made, our inspection team is sure to be prompt and on time for appointment, working hard through inspection and completion of report. Your report is normally sent out via email in a PDF document form with hours of the inspection. As Master Inspector of company I review all reports in detail to finalize and sent out to customer. We are available for followup communication on review of report, keeping customer informed and educated through the inspection process, assisting them in making a sound decision on whether or not to purchase the home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both of our inspectors attend at least two F.A.B.I ( Florida Association of Building Inspectors) conferences a year which consist of sixteen hours of classroom work, continued education in the most recent practices, recalls and inspection protocols. Our inspectors are also InterNACHI certified ( International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) which includes monthly on line course completions, number one in inspector training. We also hold monthly in house training sessions to uphold our own code of ethics and standards of practice as well as keep up with the latest trends and news in the home inspection world.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common jobs include the complete home inspection for the prospective buyer of a structure, both residential and commercial up to three stories. We also perform insurance inspections which include wind mitigation reports, roof certifications and four point inspections on a daily basis. In 2014 we added licensing and services for environmental services which include Mold, Asbestos and Lead Paint testing. Water sampling and coliform analysis is also available upon request, our company is partnered with Sanders Labaratories in Ft Myers for these results.
