Bill was very responsive and punctual, and we enjoyed the first lesson he gave to our daughter. He clearly has lots of experience teaching kids, and we're confident he'll do a great job in future lessons.

Linda is an absolutely wonderful teacher and a pleasure to take lessons with. She is kind and patient, and allows me the flexibility of finally getting the opportunity to learn to play despite a very busy schedule. I would highly recommend her to any adults interested in taking lessons! She is absolutely lovely to learn along side of, and her home studio piano has a beautiful sound to it as well.

Both I and my son studied with Judy. I participated in adult Rock Band Boot camp, keyboard lessons and vocal lessons. I've been playing trombone for 45 years, but some of the most fun was Rock Band Boot Camp. Judy figured out how to integrate a group of adults with all their hangups and odd instrument combinations to make a fun exciting and meaningful musical experience. I branched out into keyboard and Judy worked her magic with that as well. When I found out she was leaving, I thought, I may never have someone who will help me sing in public again. She got me over the hump and on the stage. I have never had so much fun. For a few minutes I was a rock star. With my 8 year old son she did some keyboard, but when she started working with him singing! We never knew what an energetic performer he was! It was an experience he will draw on for the rest of his life. Judy will teach you music, but more importantly, she'll teach you that there is so much in you waiting to come out.

Carol is an amazing piano teacher. She is warm, friendly, enthusiastic, and encouraging Lessons are always lively and you learn a lot while having fun. Carol readily adapts her teaching to the student's age and interest and learning style. She can adapt any song and write it out at the student's level so they are playing music they enjoy. She holds several recitals each year that often include family picnics. She prepares her students for the annual New York State testing and her students always receive Outstanding and Excellent ratings. I am a 64 year old man with little natural talent but a strong musical interest and she has given me the gift of music and has me playing the music I love. I give her my highest recommendation.

As an adult beginning piano student, I was nervous about taking lessons because the piano was completely new to me. Milana helped me relax and started me of with the basics. I keep improving from lesson to lesson because of her carefully and detailed explanations on techniques, hand positioning, and helpful tips when focusing on music pieces. Milana is very friendly and patient and very flexible when it comes to scheduling lessons. I would highly recommend Milana to anyone interested in learning the piano. I feel very fortunate to have Milana teach me how to play the piano.

Carol is an outstanding instructor. I took my first lesson alone and she was so patient and taught me well. I enjoyed it so much that the my husband and I spent our 30th anniversary out on the water with Carol. She had him up and going on his own in no time as well. Try it, I promise you will enjoy SUP'ing with Carol Ellis at Fitness in Nature!

My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Miss Pamela since 2010. She has taught her how to properly sing music without forming poor muscle memory. This includes proper posture, head placement, and breathing techniques which helped my daughter improve her vocal range. Miss Pamela prepares her students for vocal competitions and scholarship opportunities. She encourages them to participate in community performances to build their resumes. Miss Pamela takes pride in her students and their accomplishments. She has a genuine interest in their lives and making them the most prepared they can be for pursuing a degree/career in vocal performance.

My favorite class with Tina was what is similar to a "hot iron" class. It was always packed and I even made it a point to get up 30 minutes earlier not to be left without a bar in her lesson. Tina is the perfect fitness instructor, as she motivates as well as makes you feel like you should try harder and harder. Her music is always wisely chosen, she tries to make things easier by dancing around, cracking jokes and - most importantly - doing what she does best: being a professional instructor.

About

A piano teacher of 39 years' experience is now accepting new student enrollment. The lessons would be in my home in Port Charlotte. I have extensive experience in many different avenues of piano performance, which include public performances, school choir accompaniment as well as soloist accompaniment, church music direction, and church band playing. I studied with a University of Missouri alumni teacher for 12 years and started my teaching under her guidance. My greatest love of teaching is with the K to 12th graders. We all know that proficiency in anything in life takes hard work, but I find that making learning interesting and fun brings about the greatest results! If a student is presently studying in a certain method, I will continue at that point and very gradually switch over to my preferred method. I approach teaching in three very important areas: scales/chords, theory, and playing. Lessons will start at 30 minutes each for younger children and may require up to 45-minute to 1-hour sessions with older students who are more advanced in their playing technique. Rates start at $25.00 per 30-minute session. If you are interested in your child taking piano lessons, please contact me for further details. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have!

About

I have over 20 years experience teaching music. I offer classes for young children and individual lessons for students of all ages. Individuals have studied with me in the areas of piano, voice, music theory, ukulele, and guitar. My teaching is unique because of my ability to meet the student where they are, get to know their learning style and specific strengths and needs. This helps achieve great results for each student by letting them take part in directing their learning. We can focus on classical or pop music, theory and technique, or whatever it is that the student wants to accomplish musically. Lessons with me are always thorough in content, and of high quality. My product stands out for its value.
