FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees are very fair and reasonable, but if the distance is too far to your home, we must charge a little more to justify the cost of getting to you. Consequently, we must factor in gas prices and wear and tear on our vehicle. Therefore we might charge a little more for those students that live a little further from us than others, but we will ALWAYS work out a fair and reasonable fee schedule at the start of lessons. That way no student is unfairly charged or surprised at what they are paying for. We only teach up to 25 miles or so from our house to keep our prices low, but we will gladly give quotes on further distances. Also for voice lessons, the fee is higher for those that are already more experienced than beginners, because those advanced students must work harder to achieve their goals, and therefore the teacher must also.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer is different so we teach according to each client's needs and desires. By interviewing and learning what is needed, the student has a better learning experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both Natalie and I have university degrees in Music Education. Natalie has taught Music in the Lee County School System for over 12 years, and James has taught voice and piano privately for over 32 years. Both have extensive performance experience also.
