What can I say, he cancelled 2 hours before the appointment mentioning that the address is out of his range. He should have checked before confirming the appointment. Really disappointed with the way he handled the whole thing. Every thing was agreed well in advance, even the price as well and he specifically mentioned that he would take cash only. No one wants to work for free, I can understand but when you don't want to uphold your commitment, cancel well in advance not 2 hours before. The only reason i asked for cash because the price he told me was the max he could spend and it was far below what i could accept with a check so to be nice i offered cash but when i checked his tampa address it was 20 miles farther then my range so i told him i cant make any profit for that
You get what you pay for I guess. Job took way too long. I am still removing paint from floors and doing touch up repainting. From listening to him talk, I don't think he was as knowledgeable as he said he was.Mar 5, 2019VerifiedAbsolute Construct, general contractor.'s reply
The primary reason the job took too long is because the customer supplied very cheap paint and it took between 2 and 4 coats to cover everything on top of that the walls and ceiling have alot of bad spots that made it very hard to cut. there may have bern a few paint drips left on the floor but it just takes a few minutes to remove and i would have gladly come back but they never mentioned it to me
He was on time, worked quickly and was friendly. One of the lights he hung broke but it was an accident and he was apologetic and gave us a little off the labor. I will use him again on next projects.May 9, 2019Verified

And I never have hidden fees or try to raise rates unless there is no other options. And I never try to upsell materials unless I feel it's a necessity for the customer
