FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents were musical. I developed a good ear and appreciation for good music just listening to music a lot. When I was in grade school I ADORED my music teacher and wanted to grow up and be a competent, fun teacher like him. In college I decided that music teaching would be the one job that I was best suited for, and this has proven to be SO TRUE. I've tried other jobs, but I adore teaching music.

- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is SO much fun music out there to enjoy in ALL SORTS of styles. Most people think all there is to learn is classical music like Bach or Mozart or some stuffy, boring Romantic era music. But we also have quirky Rags, swinging Blues, cool Jazz & Boogie, gorgeous chords in the Pop songs of the Post WW II era up through the 80's. And exciting contemporary compositions are now available by performers like Richard Clayderman (piano) and Lindsey Stirling (violin) are available on a tablet or to print through the internet and YouTube. I can use Dropbox.com to send audio and sheet music to all my students at once. I also have a MobilePayOnDemand device attached to my Android cellphone to make payments easier with a swipe of a card. We are REALLY up to date!
