- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been doing bookkeeping since 1998 at a non profit. I graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and since then have taken on a few clients. In reference to taxes, I've been doing them since 2011 without any rejects thus far. I have my own PTIN issued by the IRS.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began doing bookkeeping in 1998 when I was hired as a part time office manager and bookkeeper for a local church. I decided to go back to college in 2008 in honor of my son that died in 2007. I took accounting. It was a way for me to honor his memory by completing what he could not. He was a sophomore in college. I fully immersed myself into accounting and bookkeeping in 2014. The church retained my services as well.
