Yesterday I contacted Mean To Clean through Thumbtack to make them aware of my experience. I included pictures and only posted a private. They did not respond to me and after reading their response (attack) to/on Lorraine H’s comment today I find it appropriate to post it as a review here, My experience with them seems to be identical to hers. Two cleaners came in and immediately asked where the master bedroom was located and they went to work. I considered it odd that they did not discuss what I expected, but I thought they were the experts, eager to get to work and get things clean. While one of them was in the bedroom cleaning the other cleaner was in the kitchen. She did a good in the kitchen, including the refrigerator and oven. I noticed the cleaner from my bedroom had my vacuum out. It shocked me that she did not ask before helping herself to it, but it was not a big deal. I just wish she would have used it to thoroughly clean instead of using it to pick up only what she could see (the carpets were not fully vacuumed). My bathroom floors are still dirty, the sinks and counter tops were barely touched and not scrubbed or sanitize as hairspray, smudge marks and coffee rings were still visible. The shower had mold, soap scum, hair and other particles left in it. However, the shower doors were somewhat cleaner, than they were but not as clean as they should be. The bathtub was barely touched and the mirrors had old smudge marks. I watched as the living room was “deep cleaned”. A swiffer duster was the only thing used to “clean” the entire living and dining room, including the ceiling fan. The dust from the ceiling fan was even shaken onto the carpet. There were no chemicals or wipes used to clean or keep the dust down, glass table tops were not clean and neither were my knick knacks. They were only touched with the duster as was the baseboards and furniture. My house is not shiny clean and dust was scattered not removed. My home is not clean. I don’t want to hear apologies and before you attack me and my home please remember I contracted, hired, and paid you $200 to clean my 3 bedroom 2 bath home. You attempted to clean only 2 of the 3 bedrooms because I closed the door to one of them after watching how the cleaning was being done.
