Brandon and Craig handled this project in a professional manner.
My back half of the house I purchased almost two years ago struggled to stay cool even though it had a dedicated central system. I had inspected the ducts myself and knew I could not crawl back there and fix the ducts, plus the insulation was very limited and would need to be added.
I had three estimates. All experienced professionals.
Only Brandon from American Insulation was able to point out the real problem to me.
Due to the addition of my master bedroom and bath by prior owners the ducts actually went under the tie in to the master bedroom. The ducts were in poor condition and it turned out that my Master bedroom had zero insulation.
I decided to go with a full replacement of all the duct work for that central A/C to two baths and both bedrooms plus full insulation in both halves of the house.
The project was completed exactly on schedule, they communicated with me, documented everything, did a professional job and cleaned up after they were finished.
I highly recommend this company and will refer them to my friends and family with confidence.

I only have one thing to say & that is " outstanding" in every sense of the word!
I did not know how bad of a rat infestation I had in my upper attic until mike & Craig came to my rescue!
It seems I had a family of rats, that made their home my upper attic!
Mike, who came more than once insured me not to worry & that he promised, that he would get rid of my rat infestation, which he did after a week!
He made more than one visit & removed some floor insulation , which was infected with rat urine & poop that caused an awful odor, even after exterminating & eliminating the rodents!
Once he was sure their were no more, he sealed and closed up all the vents with a commercial grade of wire!
As of today, I have very little odor remaining of the rodents & best of all, I have a 5yr warranty knowing I have peace of mind!
I would highly, recommend this company all of my neighbors & friends in the South Florida"
I want to say mike's knowledge was unbelievable, but most of all he was very understanding & explained in detail the steps that he was going to take to eliminate the problem!
I was vey fortunate in finding such a reliable & trust worthy company!

Craig's work and professionalism was EXEMPLARY. In the last 9 weeks of remodeling/renovations and dealing with the most unprofessional and sketchy (not to mention pricey), subcontractors on the planet, it was refreshing to deal with someone who answers the phone immediately and doesn't send me to voicemail, doesn't change the agreed price at the end of service, and most importantly, actually has a clue as to what they are doing professionally and is not practicing on my dime. They came out for one specific service and although they didn't intentionally upsell me, I was impressed with their knowledge of and excitement about their industry, that I ponied up some extra money alotted for minor projects JUST to have them fix issues that concerned me but that I didn't know were affecting my 30+ year old property. GREAT team (Craig, Mike, and two other guys (I forgot their names, eek!). I would HIGHLY recommend for bee removal, rat trapping and prevention, and insulation work. Oh yeah, they are always on time - even though I was always late (sorry guys). Thank God for reliable professionals...

The team at Rat Free was amazing from start to finish. We had a family of raccoons living in our attic. Mike came out and gave us an estimate. He was very thorough in explaining everything to us. He was more knowledgeable about raccoon behavior and removal than I even knew was possible. The entire process of removal, new insulation, and sealing our attic was handled with ultimate professionalism. Craig and Mike were very prompt in answering all our calls and text messages. We would and already have recommended Rat Free to anyone who has a wildlife problem or even looking to avoid one to begin with.
