O.C is the best trainer ever! I’m on my second class and I’ve already learned so much. Also, I like how he combines martial arts and fitness, so you get a full workout out of the session!
Our kids took 5 years of Martial Arts at another "ok" school. But since beginning with Sean 8 months ago, they cannot stop raving about his training techniques and neither can I. His love and knowledge of the Arts is top notch. Our family highly recommends his school for any level of Martial Artists looking for a great place to train.
Barnard's Martial Arts is a member of the United Kempo and Gung Fu Academies. We believe that the martial arts offer a unique sports activity. The school (also called the "dojo") offers programs for all ages. Many families come to the martial arts because of its reputation for building discipline, self-control, focus, cooperation and fitness. When compared to other sports activities, the martial arts stand out for the focus on personal development. Barnard's Martial Arts is also the home of MartialFIT, a fitness program designed to enhance the study of martial arts. Students attend a weekly yoga, kettlebell, and kickboxing class. The key to martial arts success does not come from conquering others, but rather, from mastery of self. Studies now show that structured activities like martial arts can even help students challenged by ADD and ADHD. Tracing its lineage to Bruce Lee's Oakland, California school, Barnard's Martial Arts follows a Jeet Kune Do philosophy of teaching, combining the complimentary arts of kempo and gung fu. We offer instruction for students ages 3 and up.

We teach and train students of all ages in Martial Arts 7 days a week. Founded in 1980 in Plantation, Florida by Shihan Robert Mason, the American International Karate Institute, a.k.a. the University Karate Center, was established to further the personal growth and development of students of all ages. The MuDoKai curriculum that we teach uses the Martial Arts as the medium for practice. Utilizing vigorous training for physical development of Martial Arts skills, we train our bodies. By training with correct breathing techniques, we develop and achieve emotional balance. Through the use of visualization and perceptual awareness, we acquire and practice mental clarity and self-control. This training, when practiced consistently, leads to the accomplishment of self-mastery, the goal of our Martial Arts.

The Park's family has been producing "black belt leaders" in the United States for over 50 years. Considering the entire family lives here in South Florida, the Park's school headquarters has been located here for over 30 years. The family's lineage goes directly back to South Korea, the birthplace of tae kwon do. Grand Master Jung Soo Park, 9th degree black belt with over 50 years of experience in martial arts, established the first Park's Tae kwon do Federation school in the United States in 1974. Grand Master Jung Soo Park takes pride in the Park's tae kwon do schools having the traditional roots and teaching the true authentic culture of tae kwon do. His sons, Master Cheong Park and Master Shick Park, carry on their father's legacy in teaching the art of tae kwon do. They have been members of the United States Olympic Committee and have produced both state and national tae kwon do champions. The Park's sons oversee all the Park's TaeKwonDo Federation schools, and continue their own training with Grand Master Jung Soo Park.
