Introduction: Learn how to sing with vocal coach Yvonne DeBandi, BME, creator of the SingSMART, an easy vocal training method, and author of three bestselling books: Singing is Easy!, You Can Sing with Impact and Affordable Singing Lessons. She is the founder of the A2Z Smart Music Group and the new online training system at A2Z Smart Music Academy. Stop mimicking other singers and "trying" to do better by practicing the same, poor choices over and over again. Learn how your vocal instrument really works, and you will easily create the sound you want. When the mechanics of singing have a strong foundation, the artist in you is truly set free. It is very common for SingSMART students to become full-time working musicians, and Coach Yvonne still performs regularly, too (3-5 nights a week). Join us! Yvonne is more than just a singing coach. Lessons are fun and designed to suit your personal needs, but expect to do your homework. Clear goals are set and met in the areas of both vocal mechanics and performance. All styles, levels and ages are welcome. The only thing required is your desire to learn. Join the SingSMART training program today, and learn to not only develop your personal vocal signature, but to also truly enjoy your singing voice!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I help singers develop a good vocal foundation by sharing the truth about vocal mechanics - how to work the vocal machine to their advantage. In addition to this "physical" aspect of singing, we also concentrate on the "mental" and "emotional" aspects required to pull off sincere and believable performances.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions. This business is tough. Only a few will be a "star" but any singer that works hard enough can become a full-time "working musician". Remember that many vocal teachers don't really have a background besides performing themselves. They usually make great song coaches that handle the emotional aspects of performing very well - but if the vocal mechanics and foundation are not strong underneath, your voice will eventually fail you. Ask your teacher what their plan is for you - don't waste your money by simply singing songs for them over and over.
