- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Catering: The price noted is the base price it includes food and menu consultation, basic equipment, staffing and set up. If the event is full service then there are additional charges for rentals such as , china and glassware, linens and additional labor if needed, plus a service fee of 22%. Drop off catering has a delivery fee of $150-200 depending on location. Plus cost per person and local tax. Private Chef Services are $50/ hr plus the cost of food per person. An additional service fee will be charged for prep, shopping and travel time to the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
While Thumbtack does give us a lot of information regarding the event we always like to speak with the client to know and understand the scope of their event, food preferences, allergies, steps of service, time lines etc... The more we know about your event the better prepared we can be to exceed your expectations. Typically we also like to do a site inspection of the event space prior to events whenever possible and discuss with the client the flow of the event and what makes the most sense for set up and execution.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Culinary Graduate of Florida Culinary Institute. I have been in the South Florida area for about 20 yrs. My partners and I have over 50 years of experience between us working in luxury hotels, country clubs, exclusive caterer and local restuarants. We have caterered and worked in many venues thoughout Miami and Palm Beach Counties.
