- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to maintain low, flat fees for my services and offer limited representation options to help keep costs low for my clients. Although you may think that an attorney is out of your price range, you are likely to be surprised!!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of case that my clients come to me with is an uncontested dissolution of marriage. The uncontested divorce typically may be obtained between 30-45 days (depending on how soon both parties are able to sign the paperwork). I work with many clients exclusively by telephone and email so as not to interrupt their work schedules with an office appointment. However, I do my best to accomodate your schedule.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Divorce attorneys are stereotyped into attorney's whose only purpose is to prolong a divorce as long as possible to churn fees. This is far from the truth. Ideally I would love it if all of my clients could amicably reach a resolution to their divorce without court intervention. The reality of the economy is that most parties cannot afford an extended court case and the same is likely not necessary.
