Tile and Grout Cleaning
Worst experience. Do not get fooled looking at the number of reviews. I hired Bruce services for grouting , dryer vent, shower and kitchen sealing job. Bruce performed tile grouting and I can still see stains between tiles in some locations. He got another guy to do Kitchen and shower caulking job. This guy does not have any clue how to use a caulk and completely messed up my bathroom and kitchen. Bruce promised he will come back following weekend to finish the job and left. He did not charge money for caulking job though. Now when I call him, he says he will only come if I agree to another job to clean airducts. Bruce is not a man of his word. May be he is a good carpet cleaner but not worth for other jobs. I will never hire again.Jun 2, 2017VerifiedFlorida Certified's reply
As the owner of Florida Certified I can validate that customers experience and satisfaction is what we strive for. I apologize that you are unhappy with the outcome of this project. When discussing your project needs, I felt that we were on the same page as you as to what the project outcome would be. Upon your request I put together a package deal that would cover the air duct/dryer vent cleaning, tile/grout cleaning, and carpet cleaning. Then as discussed I would throw in caulking of the kitchen and bathroom for no charge. I sincerely apologize about the miss communication and the way you feel about our services. I thank you for the feedback and will use this opportunity to improve our communication with our customers going forward.
Duct and Vent Cleaning
The owner is a nice man and so was his employee but I think he is better suited for carpeting as this job was not a quality one. I paid for each diffuser, return air vent and smaller vent separately. Of the 6 diffusers cleaned, every one was still dirty. When I told the owner, he seemed irritated and instead of just acknowledging it (I literally put my hand on the vent and it came out full of dust) he said it was done right and it was only a small area. He re-cleaned every single one again and asked me to re-check. I placed my hand in the vent again and it came out dirty. He said his hand was too big to fit. I told him he should have equipment to use for cleaning tight places. In the end, I realized he was not going to do a quality job and told him I would just clean it myself later. He then left. I personally would have felt bad about it and at least offered a discount or been profusely apologetic but Mr. Holman was more concerned about being right, rather than a happy customer. After he left I checked the return air vent and it was filthy (see pictures). Again, nice man but he did not do a quality job.Nov 10, 2016VerifiedFlorida Certified's reply
I’m very sorry for the confusion regarding this circumstance. On the day of the cleaning I was aware that I would be late due to a massive accident on the freeway and reached out to Christine to communicate the timeframes of arrival being that I was delayed in traffic. I wanted to be sure she was aware of my arrival time. Upon arrival I was reprimanded with severity for being late, I had viewed the work 4 days prior and knew what needed to be completed. Christine then began to attempt to conduct or direct the work flow out of order which likely added to her confusion. I was definitely prepared to make sure that her cleaning was thorough and complete as I put my pride into each of my customers projects. Upon inspection, I found that the plastic locks on intake cover were broken and cover was being held on by popsicle sticks. When I showed the situation with the cover to Christine to get her input, she indicated not to clean it due to wanting to have her husband fix or replace it. I specifically left that vent unattended as per her request and finished the rest of the work. 2 hours after I had left and was working on another customers property, Christine called to request that I return to clean the vent as her husband indicated that he was not ready to repair the vent cover. I told her that I was more than happy to return to follow up with the work but because I was more than 30 miles away and was engaged in the rest of my schedule, I only asked that the Christine compensate a meager amount for my gasoline to return to her property. Christine indicated that she had paid me enough and became insistent and contentious, refusing to assist in the travel cost. I explained that the job was completed exactly as it was discussed and agreed upon while I was on site. I always want to make sure that my customers are serviced according to their expectations and requests and while I had a busy schedule, I was happy to accommodate the extra trip back to clean the vent if she would have been willing to assist with the return travel expenses.
