Hired on Thumbtack

I paid for a trial today , she took 2.45 hours to accomplish this. She could not do eyeliner and kept asking me what I wanted. I’ve had my makeup done many times for events and never had an issue. She said she would do another trial and not to worry as she would make sure everything would be perfect for my wedding . She said she would bring another artist to help her . I agreed and she told me to send her ideas for next time. She just texted me that , she decided we are not a good fit and hoped I can find someone else. I never write reviews and I have never used thumbtack , but I don’t want anyone to waste a day or money on a unprofessional. Very disappointing as she left my home making promises she could not keep. I was concerned about her skill level so I guess it worked out ... I will find a professional even if I pay double .

Unfortunately I had to pass. We tried a full face of airbrush..customer asked me to to remove (which will naturally take time) then we tried cream foundation which was better. Customer also chose her own eyeshadow colors, which did not compliment her for a wedding. Eyeliner was an issue due to hooded eyes. Anywho...mind you I had no Insp pic....anywho, you can always please everyone!
