We had a large sweet sixteen party for our daughter, and from the start Chef Jenny was a blessing. It was wonderful how she promptly returned calls & e-mails sent to her. We had a Italian themed party, The food was amazing, and our guests just loved that their dishes were prepared to order by Chef Jenny. We highly recommend Chef-ala-Carte and their staff. Working with Chef Jenny and her crew was outstanding from beginning to end. She responded quickly to my request and presented a wonderful menu based on our requests. She took the time to preview the venue so that she would know the best way to set up the day of our event. The day of the event, which was a 70th anniversary brunch for my parents, could not have gone more smoothly. She arrived early with her crew and the presentation was incredible, not to mention how delicious everything was! I could not recommend Chef Jenny and Chef-aLa-Carte more highly. This was a wonderful experience. Jenny and her staff were just wonderful. they arrived 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time, cleaned the kitchen. They had professional attire and were just very good at their craft. the appetizers were well presented, the main entree was wonderful and the desert was also phenomenal. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I want to give personal attention to every client, which is why most of my quotes ask for more information. It's difficult to give a price for a job with only a few pieces of information is provided. I will also want to do a "walk through" of the event venue, to make sure all bases are covered.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My mothers cooking forced me to find alternative cuisine.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?A good Event Planner should know the right questions to ask, alleviating you to enjoy your event as a guest.
