From the moment I contacted Donna Merritt and spoke to her on the phone I knew that she was the person that I wanted to perform our wedding ceremony. Donna was so professional and so personable and completly organized in the entire process of our entire wedding. She guided me with ease on how to get our marriage license by mail since we live in Muskego, Wisconsin and were coming for our wedding ceremony with only our nine year old daughter Madilyne to Fort Lauderdale beach. Donna helped us plan out our ceremony as she helped us choose the perfect religious ceremony and helped us choose the unity sand and stone cefemonies. When we arrived in Florida Donna called and greeted Andy and I and made us feel very welcomed. We were staying at the Grand Pelican resort right on Fort Lauderdale beach and Donna choose the perfect spot near our resort which we could walk to from our resort where we drew a heart in the sand and put flower petals into and this was the spot we planned to get married. Donna brought a beautiful selection of music to play at our unforgettable ceremony. She also brought her wonderful grandson Cody along to take pictures for us. Cody took over 100 beautiful pictures of the best day of our lives for us and we recieved the pictures all on a DVD in which we were able to develop whatever pictures and sizes we choose. Our ceremony was much more than I ever dreamed. It was so romantic and beautiful and so professionally done we wouldn't have changed a thing. Donna has contacted me a couple of times to see how our honeymoon went as we went on a cruise after spending three days in Florida and then we came back to Wisconsin where we had a quaint wedding reception at my husband's family lake house right on the lake with 100 of our closeest family and friends. After spending the last eleven years engaged to my husband we are just thrilled to finally be able to calleach other husband and wife. Donna reallhreally understood us and knew what we wawanted because she took the time to get to know us on the phone prior to our ceremony and I thank her from the bottom of our heart's because she did go way above and beyond in all of our expectations and in performing our ceremony with the beautiful wedding packet and marriage certificate and vows she printed for us to her readings and sermon was just magnificent. We absolutely loved all of our pictures and have already made a geogeous wedding album with the pictures that Cody took for us. Thanks so much. Because Donna made this so affordable we were able to have the wedding, honeymoon, and reception of our dreams. Hats off to you Donna Merritt at The simple wedding for your professionalism and love you put into your work and wonderful job Cody on our wedding pictures that will give us a lifetime of memories to share with our loved ones. We plan to take you our for lunch next summer when we come back to The Grand Pelican Resort in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate our first anniversary.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your wedding ceremony is very important as is the person performing it for you. Be sure you feel comfortable with the person your hire. A lot can be determined even on a phone call. If the person you speak to does not seem kind and understanding and seems impatient or not willing to take the time to answer your questions...don't go there. Ask how long they have been preforming ceremonies and how many they have done.
