- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Accent Outdoor Lighting employees have yearly training sessions on low voltage and LED lighting. Every year more technology is shared to our installation crews. We review different trade secrets as well as any new laws or code issues. We also give input on different lighting techniques learned by the our crews around the country.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Does the company stand behind their product with a Lifetime Warranty? Make sure the products they use are from a reliable source. If it sounds like a gimmick it probably is. If they have a revolutionary technique of wiring or are a sprinkler company that says while we are digging the trenches for the sprinklers we can run and bury the lighting wires. These are reasons to use them that don't beautify your home but actually make it easier on them. Find someone who specializes in Landscape Lighting. Find someone who is passionate about making your home as beautiful as it can in a soft and appealing way!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Landscape lighting is what I do. We specialize in beautifying your home in the most efficient and Green way possible. Our profession doesn't get enough credit for being energy savers. We save thousands of kilowatts from being wasted on a daily basis. We are people that really care about helping our customers complete their lighting project.
