Nick put a kitchen faucet and soap dispenser in the house. Was able to answer questions on a few other things. Quick, clean and done right. I would recommend him to anyone.
Rebecca has been fantastic throughout the entire process. She was quick to reply and came out the next day for a fair quote. Kept on top of communicating with us and coordinated the painters perfectly. The finished product looks amazing! They did a huge great room, kitchen, den, hallways, and a bathroom. We can't wait to have them paint the rest of our house!
Bogden was the first one to respond to my bid, professional at first glance so I took a chance. You never know what you're going to get, I've learned not to have high hopes! Bogden showed up 5 minutes early on the day he said he was coming to evaluate my outside well pump (didn't work, rusted out, needed complete replacement.) I could immediately tell he knew his stuff--completely competent, he seemed like the jack of all trades, so I hired him. He showed up with his son on the day promised, on time, and did exactly what I wanted him to. I now have a working outdoor well which hadn't worked in years. While we were testing it, we noticed a leak in one of the pipes that wasn't related to the job--he said he would be back Monday to evaluate it, and I have no doubt that he will. I learned that he also does all home improvement, loves woodworking--thats great because I plan on hiring him to install crown molding and possibly a kitchen remodel! I truly lucked out--I believe I found a very skilled handyman! Woohoo!
Erik painted my living room walls and tray ceiling in the living room. I was immediately impressed with Erik when he came to my home to give me an estimate on the ceiling with paint all over his clothes. He looked like a painter, not a sales person and that's a plus with me. He had his portfolio with him, samples of paint treatments in the colors I said I had in mind for the room (in our initial email talk) and paint chips in every color imaginable. Erik is friendly, easy to talk with and he knows what he's talking about! Erik Schlake is not just a guy who can paint a wall, he is an artist. He knows paint, color, technique, and is very comfortable in guiding his client toward making a decision that she is happy with. He spent 3 days meticulously preparing and painting my walls and ceiling. He was very concerned that I liked every step of what he was doing. He doesn't just show up and slap the paint on the wall, he applies it with precision and knowledge of his product and it's proper application. Erik painted the most gorgeous finish on my tray ceiling, one that is unique to my home only and that coordinates beautifully with the bold wall color I decided upon. It's a true conversation piece. The end result is worthy of a photo spread in a Home magazine, it's truly beautiful. I highly recommend Erik, he is a true artist/painter/finisher. Give him a call right away so you can get on his schedule, as he is usually scheduled a month out. I was so happy with his work on my living room that I didn't let him leave without getting on his schedule to have him paint my kitchen next month. And I'm already thinking about colors for phase 3 of his work. I'm so glad he answered my request, I expected a painter but instead, I got a true professional artist. Thank you, Erik! Annie Kitzman
I used Oasis for my kitchen remodel. There were some unforeseen issues that caused delays due to custom work, but I was informed throughout the process. I am looking forward to hosting my family for Christmas with my new kitchen!
Greg and his team and Manatee flooring were amazing to work with from start to finish. We just built a new home and were in need of a contractor to install a kitchen backsplash for us. Greg responded to our inquiry immediately, and though we had a tile picked out, was able to steer us in the direction of a tile that was, for the same price, of higher quality and looks great! It took just a day and 1/2 for his team to complete the work, and Greg personally inspected the job to insure that the quality met our standards. We will hire Manatee Flooring again for our next tiling project.
We had just purchased an ocean front condo in March of 2014 in Southwest Florida and knew right away that the interior needed a complete remodel to remove the dark, colorless interior and furnishings. It lacked character as well as color and we needed to find away to make the condo look bright and airy. We met Valerie and immediately fell in love with her attention to detail and her ability to put our thoughts and wishes into reality. We gave her a time frame and budget which she not only fulfilled but exceeded our expectations. In the end she brought the ocean and the sun into our unit by using a mixture of wall paint, sophisticated, but comfortable furniture, and wonderful accessories. We have bought and remodeled many properties but enjoyed this process the most as Valerie was so accommodating and conscious of making sure all of our needs we're met. We would highly recommend Valerie and her services for any type of design or decorator services.
Did a fantastic job They will be doing our kitchen next I would recommend them to anyone
Brent and Marrisa worked so hard! My house is gleaming and they helped move furniture and put down rugs. Great couple! Diligent, tireless and fun. Would hire them again in a second. Great eye for detail and helped me with some new ideas too!
I had another "plumber" hook up my new sink after having counters installed. He did such a poor job that it flooded my kitchen! (wood floors!!) Thumbtack to the rescue. I got a great plumber in no time who did a terrific job for a good price.
When my husband and I began building our 10,000 sq. ft. home in Oak Brook, IL, Rosalinda from ROSALINDA'S INTERIORS, INC. was involved from the inception making changes on the drawings improving the design and function in different areas. For example, she designed an island that had wood cabinets below for storage with a granite top for the lower level kitchen. (secondary kitchen) This multi-purpose island was valuable when we were entertaining and would serve as a buffet table or dining table for guests using four under counter stools, and was used as a sushi station when a chef prepared rolls. She was instrumental in furnishing three levels, including paint selections, stone selections for 9 bathrooms, accessories for 7 fireplaces, designed custom draperies for 4 bedrooms, library, kitchen, office, formal living, family (approx. 12-15' windows), breakfast room and formal dining room, designed custom bedding for 4 bedrooms, made selections for wood floors, area carpets for all rooms, including one for the billiard room on the walk-out level, carpeting for two staircases, one a spiral, and elevator, chandeliers, many crystal, including crystal light fixtures for 22 closets, ceiling fans and crystal lamps throughout. There were numerous accessories that completed each room including a custom made mirror imported from Mexico, approx. 5' wide by 11' tall that hung over the family room fireplace: stunning! She also helped to select the outdoor furniture that was placed poolside, on 4 balconies and deck, approx. 80 pieces. Because her work exceeded our expectations, we again requested her services, years later, when it was time to downsize and build a 3,000 sq. ft. home in Naples, FL. She assisted with window treatments, including drapery, rods, black-out shades, woven, wood shades, and sheers that dressed the windows in 3 bedrooms, family, clubroom, dining, bathroom and garage. She helped with wood floor and paint selections throughout and stone selections for 4 bathrooms. Her passion and up-to-date design expertise made her an advocate in transforming a vision into a reality. From experience, we knew that Rosalinda was trustworthy, reliable, punctual for home/field meetings, kept us informed of deliveries, was prompt in answering questions, returning phone calls/text messages. This high level of professionalism and service eliminated stress, guesswork, anxiety that could arise when building and furnishing a home and saved us time and money as well. In addition, her friendly, hard-working nature, work ethic, attention to detail, enthusiasm for interior designing, exceptional qualifications made working with her an enjoyable experience! The end result is credited to Rosalinda, an extraordinary interior designer! We wanted our homes to look gorgeous; Rosalinda delivered! Cristina and Dominic
Josh recently completed kitchen backsplash, shiplap accent wall & chair rails in our home. His craftsmanship is A+ and he delivered as promised. Josh is professional, responsive and attentive to detail. Very happy customers. Will post a couple of pics as a follow up as soon as we get some painting completed. Thank you Josh.
I hired Amaro Builders to remodel my kitchen for my vacation condo in Naples and I could not be happier. I chose the white Shaker style cabinets, granite and crown molding from their showroom and was so happy I didn't have to run to 10 different places back and forth to get what I needed. I plan on remodeling the bathrooms next when I come back in the winter and look forward to working with them.
Kept their word helpd design and quality control
Leslie has designed two of our homes for us and we loved the results. I found using her services to be cost effective and far more efficient (with a superior result!) than trying to do the work on my own. My initial fear was that she would force her preferred style on me but that did not happen. She was very supportive and worked with me to achieve the results I wanted.
I handle all interior styles. The following is how it works: 1. Call or e-mail me to arrange for a no-charge initial consultation. I consider this to be a working meeting, so in the hour or hour-and-a-half time frame, I'll be giving you a lot of free ideas. During our meeting, we'll also be reviewing a binder of magazine photos that I've assembled. It's very telling to have you flip through the photos and inform me of your likes and dislikes. We'll then get a very immediate idea of your preferred style; that's a very important process in order to make our selections! If you also have magazine photos, that's a bonus. 2. I'll then get you a proposal for the entire project. In it, I list everything that it will take to design your home per our initial meeting. My fees are $115 per hour, but if we can determine a scope of work, I can quote you a flat fee. Any purchases that you make through my firm, I sell to you at my "net" or discounted rate, plus a fee of 20% to expedite that purchase. 3. Should we decide to work with each other, I then hit the ground running, and at our second meeting, I'll be giving you a full presentation with actual selections and examples of the design concepts that we discussed. After that, it's all about additional shopping, getting quotes, establishing a budget and assembling your interior. What clients find appealing about my system is that I design the entire project up-front, so that we maintain a cohesive look. When you make the purchase is of no consequence to me. However, I find that when the clients have the big picture and pricing, the purchasing/implementing process goes faster. Having an a-la-carte listing of all of the items lets you prioritize, and when funds become available, you know exactly what the next item to purchase is. I've worked with many clients for a number of years this way, carefully completing a designed project. I insist on having fun working with my clients because I'm not a design dictator. I don't care where the inspiration comes from (once, it came from UPS delivery personnel) as long as the selection excites you. Moreover, it's very important to interview as many designers as possible; you must click with that person. Please be sure to visit my website! Dave Yates
We added a fourth BedRoom suite to our home. It went very well and was done with perfection and talented craftsmen. Highly recommended.
