John was in constant contact during the planning phase and answered each of my questions promptly as well as giving me advice to make our multiple family photo shoot the best it could be. He was diligent on making sure the weather was what he needed to be to ensure the best lighting possible for an outdoor shoot while keeping his studio as a backup in case it was not. He put everyone at ease with his easy going character, making taking pictures with 10 people WAY EASIER than I had expected. He was point on on his shots, he only had to take a few of each pose to capture the light and best angles of us, which I found extremely impressive considering how hard it is to get 10 people to keep their eyes open and all look great in the frame. He was funny and directed our family on how to pose without stiff directions which put everyone at ease. I can't recommend John enough for any type of photography needs after seeing his work and working with him. Both my husband and I are huge fans of photography, and often shoot our own family photos. John is fast, accurate, and creative, which says a lot about his skill set. Thank you again John for making our mothers and family so happy with their Christmas present!!!!

I came into contact with John Armour and Personal Touch Wedding & Beach Photography through the thumbtack.com website. He responded promptly to my request for a quote for a wedding photography need that I was trying to help my friend with. He was professional, courteous, and very clear on what he would provide for the quoted price. Even though my friend ultimately decided to have an acquaintance do her wedding photography, I greatly appreciated John Armour's willingness to find out exactly what was desired and to accommodate in every way, and the time he devoted to doing just that. I think that anyone needing photography of any kind will find him extremely professional, easy to work with, creative, and devoted to the detail required for a unique photography product.

Class act! I highly recommend booking with this studio! I hired John Armour and Personal Touch to do a beach family portrait for us while we vacationed in Destin, FL from Texas. I was a little nervous about hiring a photographer so far away from home, but this studio and photographer are extremely professional and kept in constant contact via email until we arrived in Florida. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep our scheduled appointment. After arriving in Florida for our vacation, we soon discovered that our three year old had a strong aversion to the sand, and she refused to walk in it. That makes a beach shoot next to impossible! BUT...John Armour and his staff were so very gracious about our cancelation. We are extremely disappointed that we weren't able to see the beautiful work this photographer could have done with our portraits.
