FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system depends on a number of factors. Every client has a different need and I try to accommodate each one. A one hour walk is very different from an over night stay and a daily check-in can differ depending on what is required of me to do, such as cleaning litter boxes, picking up after a pet in the yard or just providing providing companionship.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client I encourage them to let me come meet their pets to make sure they will be comfortable in my care before any other arrangements are made.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had over 15 years of on the job training in multiple animal hospitals. I started off as a kennel cleaner and worked my way up the ladder to lead veterinary technician. I now follow all sorts of animal related links that update me on everything from new foods that are available from Science Diet to things to be cautious about like heat stroke or certain foods you shouldn't give your pet like grapes and if there are any new developments with vaccinations or heart worm and flea medications.
