FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have three passions: #1 Jesus, #2 my Family, #3 Children and people in general. When my children were little, I remember sometimes when I had to push them to get up and get ready to go to church. Sometimes, even though we got up early they would take too long getting dressed up and we would arrive late for church. I looked around and the other parents sometimes had to go through the same frustration. That made my heart ache. Sometimes I cried and prayed for my Lord to help me find a way, to lead me to a way to be able to lead my children and other children to Christ, but I wanted them to understand that serving the Lord was fun. I wanted to find the way to transmit to them joy and passion that I felt. Guide them without pushing, lead without dragging and demonstrate the love of Christ without making them feel that they were being sacrificed for the cause. I wanted all the children including my own to wake up on Sunday morning and be happy that they were going to church, anticipating that they would have a grand time there. At the same time, I wanted to start training the children to minister to others and realize that regardless of their age they too could be used by God. I mentioned it to my Missionary leader at the moment, the late Dr. Ellis, she responded: "We need a clown." I wondered who that would be. One day I saw the vision of myself dressed up as a clown, ministering to a multitude of children. I already knew that I had a calling to work with children, but I thought it would be in another capacity . I asked the Lord to confirm by helping me to find the appropriate material, costumes, give me the ability to understand and be able to carry out what I was learning. I wanted for Him to be my personal trainer, and I asked Him to open the doors. Within a month I had the material, the costumes (some donated), I was taking an intensive course with God and He allowed to have my Pastors be the first to open the doors to this ministry. I made my first presentation in our Christmas program in of 2008. In 2011 after being without a job for about 8 months searching for a job and not finding anything and seeing my husband juggling all the bills of the household, one day while in prayer the Lord said "Use what you have at hand". I remembered the story of the widow that was about to loose even her children, and the Prophet told her to borrow pots from the neighbors. The Lord provided so much oil that she sold the oil and paid all of her debts. All it took was for her to trust God and be obedient. I started to look around in my house and all I found was balloons and face paint. Once again I had to trust the Lord and be obedient. I said to the Lord: Where do I go from here? I do not know how to make a business with this, but God has being guiding me and leading me and as long as He continues to lead and guide I will follow. I have not stopped ministering, but I use part of the profits from this business to do so, but also this business helps with the expenses in my household. I still have a lot of growing and learning to do, but I know that with God nothing is impossible and I know that one day I will be able to fulfill His purpose in my life. Some day I will be able to use all of my time to go into all the world and spread the gospel of love, hope, and salvation, and make disciples.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Try to book your events as early as you know for sure that you are having that event. That will allow you to have who you want and not just have to settle for who ever is available. Always try to get a sense of who your provider is. Ask any questions that may interest you. This person will be working with your children. You should feel comfortable with him/her. Also, make sure you both agree on the terms of the services to be provided, the price and the form of payment to be used.
