I had the pleasure of working with Rich in his impressive studio for 4 hours. We needed vocals recorded for an acoustic song and hired Rich to record the vocals. The experience was great as he encouraged me to get the best takes and offered advice on the delivery of vocals. The song was recorded within the time frame and he also offered me a discount rate for a mix and master. I would recommend Record That Hit and Rich because he is professional and very passionate about what he does.

I booked a block of tuition lessons to learn more about producing, Rich helped me understand music theory, creating commercial melody lines and creating better mixes. With Rich's help I have now had one of my song signed to an independent label and it is going to be released.

I never used Thumbtack before to look for a engineer, but submitted my quote using the online form, after which I received a quote from Rich and Record That Hit. This guy really knew what he was doing, not just bedroom producer. He live, breaths and sleeps music, he is so passionate about it. The records came out super tight and very crystal clear once mixing and mastered where applied, he worked out a flat fee for that which I was happy with because most studio's charge per the hour and take more than there supposed to. I will be going back to Rich to finish my album

Rich is a very talented producer and engineer! and his rates are super affordable. I've record 3 songs with him so far and will continue to record with him as he gets this radio quality sound to my vocals. He use's industry techniques to mold the sound you want for your records. Of course he is not a magician, your sound is as good as your talent, so don't expect him to turn your music into gold, if you only give him rubbish to work with.

Think about the pro's and con's, don' make your decision soley based on the cheapest option. Investing in your career is not about looking for what is the cheapest, this is not a grocery store and you cannot cut corners in your career. Essentially you get what you pay for, so take the time to consider why this person is charging a higher rate. If you want quality then it is necessary to spend more than you have to but of course don't burn yourself to the ground.
