Introduction: I specialize in small and new businesses, and Individuals - offering discounted prices as compared to my competitors. Tim had a complex situation involving his recent marriage to a foreigner, who became a recent immigrant with a Green Card, but not yet a Citizen. They reaped the Tax benefits of filing a Joint Return.

The other two are covered under Professionalism. Always a great experience. When Al worked for the IRS he went after the bad guys. Last year he went to bat for me and went after the IRS. Guess who won.

This client did not receive his regular annual refund, after several months, for no reason! After reviewing his account details, I opened a case with the Taxpayer Advocate in his Area, and he got his money within 30 days.

Business Tax Preparation
I will just tell you, that if it wasn't for Al, I wouldn't sleep as good at night. I can't express in words how grateful I am for Al's services. Mark & Juany got into difficulty by letting their tax obligations slide by for 2 years. In addition, they were not "numbers" people, and their personal spending got out of hand. IRS then wanted to LEVY the business accounts, which would have shut down a very successful Internet business, while not responding to requests for an Installment Agreement. I took this to Appeals and worked with a Settlement Officer to get the I/A they wanted, and worked on a Personal Budget with them to get their personal finances in order.

Every Return (situation) is different.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Face to face meeting at a location of their choice. Review of prior year Tax Return, Questionaire (Tax Organizer) to assure we do not miss every possible deduction or credit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take 30 credit-hours of CPE yearly. BS in Accounting. Extensive IRS in-house training courses in Tax & Fraud detection.
