Bay To Bay Roofing, LLC
About this pro
We do not take short cuts when doing work. We go the extra mile to be sure that the work is going to last and our customers can have peace of mind. Many contractors will cut corners just to quote a few dollars less, and leave home owners with huge future expenses because they did not do the work right. We are professional, and treat your property as if it was our own home.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our pricing is all inclusive! Many companies will give you a price that is much lower than other companies but fail to disclose that there will be additional costs for accessories, permits, waste, clean up etc. This can ad hundreds of dollars and it is in the fine print that they can charge you. The only thing extra that can come up with us is if there is rotten wood above what we anticipate, that has to be repaired and fixed to code. It is important to ask any roofer the details of what is included.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Roofing has been a family business for over 20 years. I have known it and learned it since I was a boy. I love the industry and helping people with all their needs and take pride in every job my company performs.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure that that you make any contractor you consider workign with show you updated, proof of Insurance, Workman's Compensation insurance (not just liability), Certifications, Licenses, etc. Just because people say they have them does not mean they do. Many companies do not carry workman's comp which is not only illegal, but it also puts your home and financial health at risk if a worker should get injured on your property. Also, make sure the company has roots in the area and is here for the long haul. Warranties mean nothing if your contractor picks up and leaves in a year.
