We hired David (HC Visuals) to photograph our son's wedding at the Skokie Courthouse and we couldn't be happier. His work is on par with other reputable photographers but lucky for us, he was willing to take our job, which took about two hours and thus, cost much less than a full day of work. We are so grateful that we hired David to photograph the civil service and take other photos of our group, before and after the service. David is a great communicator and replied to my questions promptly. He arrived early and figured out the best spots to take photos in and around the courthouse. While we waited to be called in for the ceremony, David made the most of the idle time by taking candid and posed photos of our group. When we went into the court room, we were told to sit down but David was allowed to stand up front and take photos of the bride and groom from a perspective that we could not see from our seats. He was very thorough and even took some photos of the judge speaking to the bride and groom and of the couple holding their marriage license. After the ceremony, David took photos of our group outside of the courthouse and of the bride and groom descending the stairs. We never felt rushed and he stayed until we got all of the photos we wanted. David's fee included editing all of our photos (175). He sent the photos to us via Google Drive. Please note that the attached photos are copied from the originals that David sent me. If the photos are not high quality, this not a reflection of David's work. Lastly, if you need a photographer, look no further, David is wonderful. You won't be disappointed!

This man right here in the absolute BEST!!!! I frantically reached out to David ONE day before my wedding after the booking of my last photographer fell through and he was right on it and excited and happy to help me. I told him all the details and where to be for the wedding and he showed up ready and full of energy and it was as though I have been talking to him for months. David's work ethic and energy is infectious. He is extremely professional, genuine, detailed, caring and was always there to capture the moment. I can't even begin to express how easy and amazing it was to work with him. We found David in one day and he was easily the best decision we made throughout our entire planning process. We loved him, our family's and friends loved him and he will be our go to photographer for future events. They will chose all the parameters to suit their comfort level. Also would suggest them to check my work, either, what I’ve posted here or on my Instagram.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While in undergrad, I shadowed a few photographers learning the ins and outs to better prepare me to be a better photographer. And a lot of book magazines and YouTube is so needed and helps tremendously as well.
