- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees include shopping for your specific menu (which may take several stores to find all the goods). Basic equipment, travel time, load and unload and dish washing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out what exactly people are interested in learning and then cater a couple of menus to be able to cover a few techniques a class.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified chef that has apprenticed in a teaching studio and worked at several high end kitchen retailers. I have over 14 years experience in teaching...this is very important! A lot of chefs can cook, but can they translate that into your learning? Or will they learn to teach on your time? I have taught a bunch of culinary school chefs techniques they didn't learn or understand in school.
