Such a great teacher for piano and singing lessons
John Scott was tremendous! His patience, prompt response, attention to detail, and generosity is highly appreciated in my experience with small business owners. I would absolutely recommend giving Schroeder's a try. My family has been playing and learning music with them for several years at Julington Creek. Thank you :)
My children have been taking piano lessons from Mr. Chapman for 3+ years now and couldn't be happier with their skills. Mr. Chapman is great with my kids and very patient. I like how he constantly corrects any mistakes until they get it right whereas some teachers would let it go. He also finds a way to accommodate to my busy schedule. If you want your child to learn to play the piano, do it the right and go to Mr. Chapman.
Sadly, I could only have one singing lesson with Lisa before having to leave for home in Canada. But the very generous hour we spent together was extremely helpful. I have issues with finding enough breath support to last through long musical phrases and Lisa showed me several techniques for building and strengthening support . She listened carefully to my needs and built upon my questions. Besides that, she's a lovely person with whom I think I could have created a warm musical relationship.
Very easy to set up through thumbtack. Mr.Vaughan is great with the kids and although we've only had a couple of practices we are pleased so far.
When I began taking lessons from Rebecca Minor I was just hoping to get better at singing, but thankfully for me she was a visionary who saw beyond my limited goals and has helped me harness more of my potential than I thought was possible. Rebecca doesn't implement a one-size-fits-all coaching regimen; she clearly identified my strengths and weaknesses as a vocalist and carefully crafted a game plan to bring out the best in me. She pushes me to be my best, but she has an uncanny ability to know when to press for more and when to take her foot off of the gas. It's easy to follow her lead because she is a coach with an impressive track record of performing both as an instrumentalist and vocalist as well as writing and recording her own music. Her greatest asset though in my opinion is her desire to see her students succeed; she genuinely cares. And she employees a teaching style that is very welcoming and encouraging yet challenging and rewarding. The proof is in the pudding though. I went from being a guy with zero confidence to someone who can step on stage and perform with a vocal ensemble, sing a solo for my church or even lead worship. I am proof that if you're willing to listen to her advice and work hard at your craft then Rebecca can extract a little gold from within you too.
St. Augustine Music Center is awesome! It's more than just piano lessons...Jesse Cruce is trained in teaching many different instruments and he lets the children pick which instrument they want to practice on during their lessons. My 5 year old son loves going to Jesse's music studio every week! He has learned piano, drums, organ and violin! I highly recommend St. Augustine Music Center if your are interested in teaching your child about the world of music! You will be amazed at how well your child will learn to love music and play many different instruments. Jesse is such knowledgeable and patient instructor...perfect for teaching kids!
I am 34 years old and I never had any musical inclinations, but I always wanted to learn how to the play guitar. Ten months ago I decided to start. After some research online I saw that Bob had really good reviews. I have to admit that I was afraid it was going to be a cookie cutter guitar lesson like you see on YouTube but I am glad that I was wrong. Not only did Bob designed the lesson to my taste of music but he always has a way to teach me stuff that was very related to my experience in life. He will always have good exercises that helped me with push through learning chords and songs. Bob is a masterful teacher and has the ability to listen and understand where I am in my learning curve, adjust his lessons to my skill level, and more importantly helped me a lot when I am frustrated and stuck. Bob helped me to overcome the inner critic that had held me back, by identifying and encouraging the musical ability in me. I am very grateful for that. If you want to learn music on a deep and intuitive level, Bob is the right choice.
