- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All items are custom and prices will reflect design and details. A custom package can be created versus paying for items ala carte.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts me and gives me an idea of their event. I ask for more details to make sure I capture every thing that is being asked for. I give an quote for services/products. The customer agrees and pays the balance in full or request to pay in installments (which will include a non-refundable booking fee). If installments are requested, the balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to the event. Services/products will be available on the agreed date and time.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My children are very picky about what they eat. Every year I would buy birthday cakes from a local grocery store, only for the remainder of the cake to be thrown away. So I made a cake for my youngest son in 2014. He loved it and asked me to make cupcakes for his class parties. From that, people began to request for more sweets. Then DeLoach’s Delectibles was created.
