Introduction: It is so important to me to really listen to the client. Through this, I have developed a personal and collaborative approach to working with clients, to make their dreams a reality. With my 14 years’ experience in residential, commercial & hospitality design, I feel like there is no design problem that I can’t solve. I have truly found my passion working in this field and getting to have all the fun with color, pattern and texture, while also working closely with people. When you love what you do, it really shows through your work! There’s so much that I love about every aspect of interior design. I’d have to say that the best part is getting to meet and work with amazing people and collaborate with the creativity that they either knew, or didn’t know they had. Working closely with customers to discover their inner design style and reflecting their personalities in their home/space is my specialty. Getting to see that bright smile and hearing the positive feedback at the end of the project and know that they are happy is the best feeling ever!

Emily Jane Interiors is the interior design consultant working with my architecture firm on a historic townhouse renovation. Emily sourced all the appliances, fixtures and finishes in the bathroom and kitchen of the rental apartment. She has a great sense of style and created a coordinated palate of materials and finishes for the project, with beautiful sample boards for approval by the client. Also very helpful is the list of products she generated, which was a huge time-saver, with detailed information useful during the design phase and also used by the general contractor for purchasing. Photos when the project is complete!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$149 an hour for Interior Design. Fixed prices for Home Staging depending on square footage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin with my simple design questionnaire, to gather some information about your project and to help me better understand your design style. Soon after, we'll have an In-person consultation/site visit, where I'll take measurements and a design assessment. I'll explain to you how the design process works and then give you my design price estimates. After that we'll sign an agreement and I'll get to work on your project!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2010, I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Interior Design / Minor in Business from Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, FL. I also studied Furniture Design in Milan, Italy. Since graduating I have worked in many fields of design, under award winning architects and designers. I have 10 years experience, designing everything from modern homes to Ivy League University interiors.
