We hired Mike Wood, for our 20 yr., anniversary. He was professional, polite, and very attentive to what we had asked him to play. His extensive library of music, blew away my long time friend, who was a music major in college, he kept on asking for some of the most random songs. With little time and some digging Mike was able to find the request. Mike's light truss and whirling lights, were beyond reproach. I was worried when I was watching him set up the lights, that they would be really hot, and make the dance floor bake. To my surprise, and I think our guests, it was the opposite. Turns out he uses LED lighting, which stay cool. Our friends have since booked him for other occasions. I want to try and rebook him for my daughters birthday party. TOP NOTCH DJ! His assistant set up guy, was very helpful and polite as well. I have this old crotchety aunty who doesn't really like anyone, and the young man was able to get her out of her shell, dance a little, and I even saw her smile! THANKS AGAIN GUYS!! I'm gonna tell everyone I know about your DJ skills, man!

Mr. Wood arrived at our wedding reception hall, 4 hrs prior to party. He set up a very elaborate lighting display. He was very professional, energetic, and a real crowd pleaser. He has tons and tons of music selection. He worked hard and was worth every cent, well now that the party has passed I definitely got a great deal. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!

This was our first annual Young Marines birthday ball in Jacksonville. Our planning was a little chaotic and we were making numerous changes on the day of. Mike was unbelievably accomidating, friendly, and professional. His performance the night of was great with the ceremony as he hit all of the cues. Great music selection and light set up was outstanding and the kids danced for hours. We are already reserving him again for next year's ball.

FAQs

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing it for so long that it is hard to recall. I just have fun and enjoy bringing joy to others through music and entertainment.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common event is hands down weddings. We do a lot of them, and get rave reviews from all in attendance. We are also experienced in corporate events, Bar Mitzvah's, Sweet 16, and many other types of events as well.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We take pride in every one of our gigs. It would be impossible to single one out, however there was a wedding a couple months ago where the bride was extremely nervous before walking down the aisle. I was able to lift her up through humor, released her inhibitions. She thanked me for it after the reception. I will never forget that moment and the impact I was able to have.
