Please don't hire her she is a fraud. I would like to tell you that Lynne Covington The so called CEO of the unique signature events is a big fraud I have ever Come across. For her customer's emotions does not matter at all. I hired her in feb 2013 to plan my baby shower event in may this year. She gave us a budget of $1800 and we signed a contract with her. We paid her advance of $400 to begin the work. She just talks everything in the sky. We somehow managed to decide with her about the venue, favor, cake and other stuff. However to our surprise the contract that she she gave to me of the venue we selected was duped and edited by her. She told dat the venue allow outside catere however when we went dere to decide about the decoration where she was suppose to come too she never showed up and the venue manager told us that we do not allow outside catering. We then wrote to her on email and some assistant of her replied that she has met with an accident and is in ICU and on life support some would refund your money which she never did. And the accident was all fake coz de day dis happened she has been updating her Facebook profile regularly. All I can say is she disowned my event 2.5 weeks before my event and I was left with nothing. No venue, no cake, no favor. I am pregnant and the kind of stress I am going through because of her cannot be told. I have high blood pressure now coz of her. She has not returned my money and does not answer my calls. I just wanted to tell you how I have and I am suffering coz of her. She is a big cheat and a thief.

DO NOT USE HER FOR ANY EVENT. She is a liar and a thief. My wedding was ruined by Lynne Covington. She didn't pay vendors. We also believe that she has stolen some of our wedding cards. As she was suppose to supply the card box and did not. She is very unprofessional. She was at the wedding wearing dirty rolled up slacks, her hair was not groomed and wore flip flops throughout the entire reception. She breached the contract that she prepared in every way. The reception site even called and said they would no longer accept any business from her company. I repeat all and all this is a scam artist that worked with my husband and I for 13 months to only on the day of, ruin our union. Hopefully this is read and I save someone the heartache and humiliation we endured.

Jennifer...who now goes by Lynne, and owns Unique SIGnature Events, used to own Covington Creations, was probably the worst hire of my life. My wedding COULD have been ruined if I hadn't began checking behind her about 5 weeks before the wedding. She took money for and lied about ordering my Katubah, and then tried to pass off the enlarged example from thew website as mine....it even had the wrong day and other peoples names on it! I'm not stupid, this is an important document not a cookie cutter piece of paper. She never contacted any of the vendors, I almost lost my officiant because she was never told the location and time. I never got the paperwork my DJ sent her, my photographer wasn't even sure if the wedding was still on.....I found out about all of this 5 weeks before my wedding. Luckily I was able to contact all the vendors and straighten everything out. She was late or missing from every meeting by 45 minutes to 2 hours, missed the first venue meeting and the tasting. She lied about why she was late/missing every time. She got a flat tire, was stuck in traffic, her daughter was in the hospital, she got in a car accident....I mean come on really? We are out all the money but able to salvage everything in the time we have. She took all of the silk flowers we bought to make centerpieces, we were actually ere able to get half of them back, but we are out the money we gave her and the remainder of the flowers, plus all the time we now have to take to make everything ourselves, and we only have three weekends remaining until the weekend. Also we now have to rush order a Katubah that we already paid her for. I worked with Lynne for 9 months and nothing was done the way she promised, in fact NOTHING was done at all. She is very nice to talk to but I don't think she's cut out for this industry.

Lynne was great! Me an my sister decided we were going to plan my wedding ourselves after about a 3 months of planning we decided that we were in way over our heads. Lynne came in and gave me great advice, provided me with the exact vendors I was looking for and did not get mad when I called her at 11pm to ask questions. I would recommend her to anyone! She is awesome
