Introduction: "Treating them like royalty!"
Hello! My name is Carolyn Chumley, founder of Reigning Cats and Dogs of Jacksonville. I am the proud pet parent of five kitties and one huge puppy. My free time is spent with my family (furry included) and friends.
In order to gain knowledge and experience with administering medications and large dog handling, I volunteered at the Jacksonville Humane Society in the Foster Office for about a year just prior to launching the business. I graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2010 with a BS in Workforce Education and Development.
I have always been in love with animals. As a child, I drove my parents crazy bringing home every poor little thing I came across. As I got older, I began volunteering for programs that helped to control pet populations, like The Bear Foundation, Operation Catnip, and Spay Day USA. I offered adoption assistance to find forever loving homes for dozens of deserving pets. In the last few years, First Coast No More Homeless Pets has helped me spay and neuter several colonies in Duval and Clay counties. During these times, I prayed that one day I could make caring for animals my career.
After more than a decade in the finance industry, I decided to follow my dream, and Reigning Cats and Dogs of Jacksonville L.L.C. was born. It is my goal to provide Jacksonville pet owners with affordable, reliable, loving pet sitting services. We are fully licensed, insured, and bonded. I love my job and want to help care for your pet in any way I can.
Thank you for your time,
Carolyn
